Both from being very friendly and responsive in visiting the showroom and getting an excellent experience in person. A very pleasant experience. Got great help with my bookcase selection and some custom modifications. It was ready exactly when promised. Delivery company was great too.
We purchased the Manhattan King bed and were VERY excited about it. We ordered the bed in October, they said it would take 6 weeks. We followed up 6 weeks later and spoke with a female who said that she would call us back with updates. That call never came. We finally escalated after the 3rd unsuccessful call and the owner was able to give us an update. Our bed was not ready. As we approached Christmas, we had to continually follow-up to ensure that our bed was delivered. Our bed arrived 2 days before Christmas. They delivered and set-up the bed. The first night we slept on it, we heard creaking. We continued to hear creaking and finally took the box springs and King-size mattress off only to reveal that there were only 4 thin slabs of wood at the bottom to serve as supports for a king-sized mattress. The slabs were not nailed down so can be moved around (hence the creaking). The combination of the thin slabs, no reinforced nails and no supports in the middle of the slab (slabs will curve under weight), caused our bed to creak and feel unstable. We were extremely disappointed even though the quality of the headboard and footboard were incredible The bed LOOKS amazing however, it is not functional. It is frustrating that the quality was put into the headboard and footboard but not the base and support of the bed. We have currently removed the slabs so that our box spring and mattress are on the floor until we are able to speak with someone (which hasn't been easy in the past) We are hoping to discuss this further with the company so that this can be corrected Photos and videos are available if requested.
