This is one of the nicer locations I have been to. Nice furniture laid out well. Some locations just pile everything in to rows, but this place sets everything up like the milton store.
They were all very accommodating and 100% willing to work with me! The staff are all polite, knowledgeable, and kind. This is definitely a place to visit if you're renovating!
Decided to give this place a second chance after I found the prices to be quite high. The second time was also a disappointment. You will not find any deals in here. They are selling everything at antique store prices. I saw some used and stained bar stools originally from homesense for $100 each (sticker was still on the bottom) being sold for $95 each. Everything is hundreds of dollars here. In the USA, habitat for humanity stores sells furniture for $50 or less. Why here do they charge such ridiculous prices? Who is paying these prices? Not worth it for me to ever come back here again.
Was my first visit to A Habitat ReStore in Etobicoke and I must say I was completely blown away. The high end quality furniture was something I never expected. The pricing is spot on, better than what you'd find in a chain store and a huge selection as well. The staff is exceptional from the moment you walk in until you leave. Looking for that unique find, without breaking the bank, then this is the store for you. Conveniently located on Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke, it will be a shopping trip you won't regret. You are getting a great bargain all while proceeds going to the amazing Habitat For Humanity Charity, so a win-win for everyone!! If I could give 10 stars I would. Just go and see for yourself!!
I was in with my sister yesterday and she put a hold on a piece that was quoted to her at $165. She went back today and we were going to get pick it up. Today the manager said it was $265. We told him that yesterday we were told it was $165. He said it didnt have a price on it. He would not back down. We had also asked about delivery and were quoted 150 for delivery but they would just drop it off at the elevator. They would not bring it up to the unit. Not a nice experience I wouldn’t recommend going to that store.
Got an amazing deal on a fridge, Jacob was super helpful, even helping us take off the doors. They were also okay with me coming in multiple times to measure everything just to be sure it would fit!
Many great finds here. But the manager is quite rude, completely ignores customers. I know its a charity but doesnt mean you need to disregard your customers. They're still paying your salary and can take their donations and money where its welcomed and appreciated
