Stay away from this place. I booked an appointment, it was to be held 30 minutes later. I get there, there’s a note on the door that unforeseen whatever, the place is closed. This is the 3rd time this has happened in one year. They had an address to refer to, so, I go there, the place had been closed for years.
My first visit to this clinic was excellent! Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Dr. Saad Nizami was a pleasure to deal with - he was knowledgeable, informative, friendly, a good communicator and takes a great approach to prevention as the cornerstone of individual health. My current doctor is located very far away, and I was considering trying to switch to this clinic and Dr. Nizami for regular medical care. After meeting with him for my first appointment, I am completely sold. This will be my clinic going forward.
This walk in clinic has improved recently with their online booking system and their availability 7 days a week. Very convenient and they are great with follow up of lab reports. It is hard to get in touch with someone on the phone though and the wait times are still longer than expected. But when I check in I ask the receptionist how many people ahead of me rather than how much longer. I find this to be more accurate and often leave and come back. Most of the doctors are good.
I landed at this walkin by pure chance. After doing some research by reading reviews, I went to St. Andrew's this morning for a leg injury treatment. However, I was told by the receptionist that the doctor wasn't coming in and suggested that I go to this clinic. That's how I landed here at Well Health in Etobicoke. It was a good thing that I had not read the (bad) reviews, for had I read them, I wouldn't have come here. The receptionist was polite, professional and helpful. She gave me clear instructions on how to book the appointment online where I booked the earliest available time slot for 11.20. I had arrived there around 10.15. She told me I could come back 10 minutes before my appointment. However, I sat in the spacious (and not crowded) waiting room and worked on my laptop while waiting. My turn finally came at 12.15 ish. I was attended to by Dr. Greg Major. I was very impressed with his pleasant manner, professionalism and sound medical advice. The nurse attendants were brisk, polite, professional and kind. After my wound was dressed, I left - forgetting that I was to receive a tetanus shot. I was at the Shoppers Drug mart picking up gauze and stuff when the nurse attendant came looking for me. I was surprised with this "going out of their way" service! They had called my number and as I didn't pickup, left a voice mail - which I wasn't aware of as my phone was in silent mode. I went back with the nurse attendant and took the tetanus shot. Truly, I was immensely impressed with this very pleasant experience. The wait time might be long, but it's the end result that matters. I will definitely go there should the need arise in the future.
Incredible, after pleading for the doctor to change my prescription when he knew I was likely allergic to it, he went home. He left me with a UTI and no valid medication. Absolutely the worst experience. These people have no heart and do not care about patients. You're in the wrong business-
This place is awesome all around. Not just as a walk in but the staff are amazing. The urgency to get referrals and being seen is on point . I lost my long time dr a few years ago and I looked everywhere for a new family dr. I am so glad I waited because Dr Wong is truly amazing. Sweet. Professional. On the ball.so knowledgable friendly and just amazing!! I am so so happy to have her as a family doctor.
I only been here a couple of times and this is my second. The receptionists were professional and friendly. The assistant was pleasant and asked for further details on my reason for visit. . Dr Mack was professional and took care of my need. There was a lineup but the receptionists got everyone checked in quickly I was impressed at the kindnesss and professionalism. I came back again for my dad recently and my review still stands
