Not a walk in clinic despite the giant sign outside and google. I went in person and there was no one in the waiting room, the receptionist told me they only have a virtual walk-in doctor and turned me away. She didn’t tell me how to access the virtual doctor or try and help me find another clinic. She made it seem like the virtual doctor wouldn’t see period. I went up the road to another place that was seeing patients. I don’t know what they do at alderwood medical clinic but they don’t support patients. Went out of my way for no reason.
I would avoid this place. I took my daughter there as she had a fever for 4 days. The dr checked her over and said she was fine and to just give her Tylenol and Motrin at the same time if her fever spikes again. I wanted a second opinion as I had a gut feeling he was wrong so booked an appt at the just for kids clinic the following morning (who are awesome) and turns out she has an ear infection and chest infection. He checked both her chest and ears and said she was perfect.
This clinic has a walk-in doctor available on specific days and times, as well as a family doctor. The receptionist will ask for the reason for your visit to determine if the doctor can assist you. If you plan to see a walk in doctor, it's best to call ahead to confirm their availability and ensure they can see you before visiting in person
The receptionist was rude, snooty. I stood there for 20 minutes she didn't even acknowledge me standing there. She was so rude to a older lady. So I walked out. Everything the phone rang she sighed.
Zero stars. Receptionist didn’t ask my reason for visit… so I am pregnant and waited an hour in waiting room for the doctor to tell me they don’t do the service I required.
I would like to give zero stars. I’m not sure why would they even open a clinic and be so careless and unprofessional. My wife had a deep glass cut which required stitches. The doctor was like “it’s nothing bad just use bandaid and you’ll be okay”. We wanted a second opinion so we went to another walk in clinic, they told us this is deep and needs to be stitched at trillium health centre. As a common man even we could tell that this needs to be sutured. The doctor didn’t even analysis the cut and how deep it was. Free advice - Please do not visit this clinic.
I had a great experience there today. I had terrible sciatica pain, barely walked so I went to the walk in clinic as it was close to me. They were very nice and the Dr Murton saw me right away, he was very nice and helpful.
