In short: The receptionist and doctor were extremely rude and unprofessional. Expect for there to be zero regard for your time and dignity. Full story: They almost never answer the phone so I had to go on Monday in-person just to book the appointment. They're only open three days a week, so I booked an appointment on Friday. They don't send nor provide you with a confirmation of your appointment. On Friday, I waited for my "appointment" for about an hour, so I got up to see if I'd be waiting much longer and the receptionist said that there was one last patient ahead of me. I let them know that I didn't expect to wait that long and had I known, I would have made time for such a wait. The receptionist asked the doctor to answer me and he rudely and aggressively responded "do you see me eating or wasting time?" as if he was going to be treating me pro bono. I expressed my frustration regarding their appointment system and the receptionist continued to be dismissive and unwelcoming. When I asked to withdraw my papers she rudely responded "PLEASE!". This unhinged behavior is unfortunate and I've never seen this in any professional practice. This whole thing could have been avoided with proper communication, like letting their customers know what to expect so they can make arrangements. Instead, they insist on telling their patients that these long waits and unusual discourse are normal in any clinic, but they're really not. People deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion, and to have their time respected. I walked into a doctor's clinic to become better, not to feel sicker. I have no doubt that doctors have to learn to be compassionate during their medical training, but if this is normal, the Hippocratic Oath might just be a myth.
Good doctor but not much regard for patient’s time. They need a better appointment system and “every clinic makes you wait” is not a valid nor completely true excuse. Competence goes out the window when there is an absence of respect.
Dr. Lenus has been our family doctor for 9 years now since we came and moved here in Canada. The staff always go above and beyond. They are incredibly helpful and quick to help you and book timely appointments. We also appreciate that our doctor, Dr. Lenus is very thorough, incredibly smart, caring, very nice doctor and treats us well. He is really really good doctor, I and my whole family was so glad to met him in our life. So kind and empathetic.
He has been our family doctor very since I moved to Toronto. He is an excellent physician to talk and identifying the cause of issues. He is empathetic and very energetic to help your situation. Highly recommended to anyone.
Dr Louis is a good Dr, with my experience, caring but seemingly handling far more patients than he can handle. Appointment booking is challenging as is communication with booking staff. But, Dr Louis is great.
Dr, Louis is the only Dr I trust. He really cares about you. Great Dr will stand on his head for you if that was necessary to make you feel better. All Dr's should be like Dr Louis. I'm greatful he's My Dr.
Dr. Louis is a wonderful doctor. I was unable to get into his clinic because I was so sick and he did an over the phone consultation after clinic hours. I got the medication I needed quickly. So thankful!
