Excellent company. Ordered the x24 Bike. The service was polite and I was kept "in the loop" the whole time. The bike came quickly and was delivered as requested. Upon delivery, I requested a "price match" and was refunded the difference without any issues, questions or hassles, and it was also completed quickly. I ordered an Orion Kettlebell Storage Rack from Northern Fitness, and what followed is the clearest example I’ve ever seen of a seller abandoning responsibility and leaving the customer to battle a courier that can’t keep its own story straight. Here is exactly what happened: • Northern Fitness unilaterally shipped a multi-box, medium heavy item with NO signature requirement. For a $300 order, this is unbelievable — it removes all delivery accountability. • UPS then claimed the order was delivered, but their “proof” was a blurry photo of 2 boxes left in a random hallway that is not my clinic, not my floor, and not even my building. • When I opened a claim, UPS closed it almost immediately, insisting the hallway photo was “proof” the order was delivered. Northern Fitness did nothing to challenge this. • After continued pressure on my end, UPS suddenly reversed itself, opened a new claim and admitted they had located the shipment. They told me it would be delivered within 24–48 hours. That never happened. • UPS then flipped the story again, saying tracking shows the shipment was being returned to Northern Fitness — yet Northern Fitness offered no update, no confirmation, and no action. • As of yesterday morning (Dec 10), UPS reversed the story yet again: the shipment was not returned to seller, rather it is still in Halifax, and is supposedly going to be delivered to me within another 24–48 hours. Meanwhile, Northern Fitness has provided no concrete help, no timeline, no resolution, and no acknowledgement of UPS’s constant contradictions — despite the fact that they chose the shipping method, and they are the only party who can file the necessary UPS claims. I still do not have the product. UPS has contradicted itself multiple times. And Northern Fitness has taken zero ownership of a situation created by their own shipping choices. If you’re considering buying from Northern Fitness, understand this clearly: If anything goes wrong, you are on your own. The courier will contradict itself, and the seller will sit on the sidelines while you try to make sense of it. No refund. No resolution. No leadership. No accountability. This has been a weeks-long exercise in watching a retailer refuse to step up for the customer.
I originally had intended to just visit the store to peruse and buy a few small items, but called ahead to confirm they had what I needed. It turns out that they didn't, and would need to ship one item from another store. The employee on the phone set me up with an online order for pickup and a rough estimate for when it would be delivered to their store. Everything went smoothly. The staff on site during my pickup seemed knowledgeable and attentive. The showroom had a decent selection. Seeing some of the negative reviews, I wonder if my purchase went so smoothly because I took the time to phone instead of relegating the entire process to online interaction. Granted, my purchases were also rather small.
Was very pleased with the prices of the weights and how fast they arrived before the expected delivery date. Would definitely recommend for anyone shopping for exercise equipment!
Just saw UPS DELIVERY so aborted my hike & doubled back…& packed up ….. 1st time out with my new GoRuck Pack with the 20lbs of extra weight ???Posture is forced in an upright position & got a very good sweat ? happening
This place is friggen fantastic. Can’t be beat for prices. I’ve shopped around, and places come close, but none can touch these prices. 3rd time coming in now. Will be back for more for sure!
Amazing company, can't say enough about there customer service. The Whitby location was amazing and super fast. We bought a whole gym set up from them and are super happy with every item. Will continue to use them. 5 stars all day.
