I usually go this location because it’s near me; Got the honeydew jasmine tea today and it was really good! Also yes I agree to most of the reviews about the staff not even saying a “hello” they’re really straight to the point what’s your order, then bye leave. However I really liked my drink today!
? My 10min experience at this location was a complete waste of time. The staff today were very incompetent, service was when a business is being run, maybe greet the customer when they walk in? a simple hello goes a long way..if you are busy with other orders, this can also be done while multitasking, a smile, a head nod, common sense, eye contact communicate with them and say, I’ll be with you in a minute. The atmosphere here was VERY VERY sketchy, trashy even!! The worst Coco location I have ever came across!! I thought it would be nice because it’s in the south side of Etobicoke but the place looked run down, and the person working had her back turned away the entire time not giving a damn who walks into the store. If she did care one bit, she would acknowledge the people waiting in line for her. Nope I’m so grateful this experience happened the way it did I ended up leaving (I don’t have time for that❌) found an awesome overpriced Turkish coffee spot (a minute walk away) with delicious desserts and over the top customer service where I chose to spend my money at instead. Reading the reviews at this particular location, I’m really glad I chose to walk away and grateful I found a better spot in the process instead. To whoever was working today, Great job to you Work on your skills girl. Maybe this ain’t for you.
I had a terrible experience at the CoCo bubble tea location on Dundas Street West. I came in and ordered 3 drinks, was polite and understanding, but one of the drinks was made incorrectly. When I calmly pointed it out and asked for it to be corrected, the staff member argued with me, then grabbed the drink out of my hand and muttered something under his breath—completely uncalled for. When I asked for a refund due to how uncomfortable the situation made me feel, he threw the money back into my hand in a very disrespectful manner. I left feeling humiliated and disrespected. This is unacceptable customer service, and I won’t be returning to this location. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how their staff are treating paying customers.
The bubble tea is good. We've always preferred the smooth flavour of Coco's milk tea over other establishments. However, service wise, this location is pretty poor compared to the downtown locations. There are long wait times and incorrectly filled orders due to inadequate staffing and incompetent/lethargic staff.
I asked for bubble gaga, they said they didn't have it. I asked for passion fruit slush, they said they didn't have passion fruit, so they could not make bubble gaga or passionfruit slush. I asked for mango yakult, they said they didn't have yakult. I asked for mango slush, they said they did not have yakult so they would have to make it without yakult. At one point, I almost thought it was a prank and I was looking for hidden camera. Very confused and frustrated.
Don't need to talk much about the quality of the bubble tea, especially when it's made from one of the best baristas in Canada. Service, perfect. They made me feel like i'm sitting on the lakeshore and enjoy the sunlight of summer. Highly recommend you to come here and try the whole menu. P/s: the prices of those drinks are supercheap :3
I have been a regular customer at Coco, often ordering the cold drink. Unfortunately, there is an employee who consistently does not follow the proper recipe, resulting in a tasteless drink due to the incorrect amount of sugar. This has persisted for fourth time, making me reluctant to return if this employee is present. I hope management can address this and ensure all staff adhere to the correct procedures for a better customer experience.
