Another multi million dollar company that is below standard in many ways..they cashier was courteous and helpful...also very cute..but Shoppers drug mart is a terrible business..I hope they pay the employees accordingly for their overpriced products and low quality standards
OMG! Elizabeth changed my life forever. I had such bad skin and I went into Shoppers desperate for a product that would change the game. She was spot on! She also signed me up for the VIP program which allowed me to book a skin analysis appointment! I had no idea Shoppers offered these services but I am so happy with the results!
They are friendly and professional overall. The main pharmacist, a lady whose name I unfortunately don’t know, seems to have a slightly reserved attitude. It’s nothing major, but she could be a bit more approachable, as a warm demeanor always goes a long way. This is the only reason for reducing one star. The service itself was timely and efficient, and this isn’t a complaint, just a suggestion for an even better experience.
This review is for Dexter, with whom I had the pleasure of interacting this past weekend when I went in looking for a perfume. I had no experience whatsoever with this, and he was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable! What could have been an overwhelming shopping experience for me was made simple and enjoyable with Dexter's help. I'm definitely going to go back for a makeup lesson because I was so impressed with the customer service!
I went in for a specific item branded by shoppers (quo product) told by a friend in a smaller city that she bought it at shoppers. They did not have a single one of that item of the quo brand, the cosmetician was busy but there were no spots for that item anyway. Online there's 4 types of it. It was nail glue. You guys didn't even have quo nail glue. But you will sell groceries at an exorbitant markup.
AVOID THIS SHOPPERS IF POSSIBLE EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, GO TO THE ONE BY SHERWAY, Lakeshore & Fourth or Lakeshore & Parklawn any other one in the area if possible… I would’ve returned my whole purchase from the service I received and bought it elsewhere if it wasn’t needed urgently. I was there earlier today, and was spending over $1100, after returning too canada from after 6months of travel & needed to restock on Beauty Products for the house as well as getting a gift set for my mother there for a christmas gift. Melissa(possibly manager) and Maja D(sales cashier) were both helping me at the beauty counter, and gave me the most awful experience to the point where as I got to the cash register I literally took $400 worth of product and ran it through self checkout to get it done faster and less stressful myself because both of the female employees comments were annoying me off so badly after I just spent the last few days travelling back into Canada and adjusting to the cold weather again… They never even offered me a bag at all which I would’ve paid for after spending so much to restock… But instead had to go to my car to get my bags.. then come back to bag literally $1100 worth of products from this shopping trip. So not only will I now only go to the other shoppers locally that i’ve listed above but i will be calling the line on the reciept which I would never usually care to do, just to explain and express the experience I had today at shoppers on Lakeshore.
This used to be an amazing shoppers with the old owner Jonathan and since the new owners took over its gotten a lot worse with the pharmacy wait times over the phone being so long, and the poor staff has to deal with all this too. Owner need to step up and do better the staff are great here but theres only so much that can do,
