Pharmacy team is good & reliable. Products are overpriced as with all Shoppers. However, at this location be aware of expired goods still on shelfs. I bought vitamins that were 1 month past expiry and another that was expiring in less than a month.
I was surprised that the Canada Post office inside this Shoppers Drug Mart hired an older gentleman whose behaviour was very disappointing. He treated people differently based on their skin colour, which is completely unacceptable. If he no longer enjoys his job, perhaps it’s time for him to retire, as it’s not right to take out frustration on specific groups of people. I would not recommend this Canada Post location due to the unprofessional and unacceptable attitude shown by some of the staff.
On Wednesday November 19 2025 12:00 pm I came to Canada post to send a package out to the US and the worker was very nice, patient and helped me with everything i needed. Thank you for a great experience.
There is a pharmacy assistant named Tanya who helped me a lot when my health card wasn’t working and I couldn’t cover my bill. She patiently explained everything to me in detail. Thank you so much:) it was the best experience with her.
I had a wonderful experience at SDM 0825 location recently, where Samantha and Giorgia provided exception customer service experience, they went above and beyond to resolve my issue. They figured out the best option for me (customer) and provided me acceptable solution. I am very pleased with the service and great to see such customer caring staff.
A very busy shpppers that is well stocked and has the added convenience of both the postal counter and the pharmacy. Both of which are easy to deal with. Yes there are lineups on occasions however I’d far rather a lineup knowing they are taking their time to get things right than racing through customers to clear lines and end up making mistakes. The pharmacy have been very helpful in getting any prescriptions renewed for me that have no refills left and do so in a timely manner.
You’re better off going to the Shoppers at 666 Burnhamthorpe. We call this one the “scary Shoppers” because of how low the standards have become. The staff are poorly trained, often on their phones, and seem annoyed when asked for help. There’s clearly no leadership—employees do as they please, and complaints are ignored. My husband called about a flyer item, and instead of checking, they told him to "you'll have to come in and check." I went in recently to mail a package with Canada Post and was met with very rude service from Peter. I asked for a manager, waited, and no one showed up. As I left, I saw all the managers outside smoking in uniform. This store lacks structure, professionalism, and basic customer service. Shoppers Drug Mart, this is costing you customers.
