Small space. But the food is fantastic. I craved a dessert and went here to get it. I love the desserts. Great price, great service, and personally for me. It's a great location.
First time trying this shop. 2 pastries and a bag of BBQ corn came to $16. Was told a pastry was a "Jesuíta" and that it was filled with egg custard - neither was true. The faux "Jesuíta" was also undercooked. The other pastry was stale. Very disappointing.
I went there last Monday, and the latte and pastry were delicious, it hit the spot. The person that tended to me, she was very helpful and friendly. Wish this place was closer to my home.
7/10, Pastéis de nata, fresh, crispy tart shell, custard is nice, some caramizing on top. Overall good custard tart but could be better. 4/10, Chocolate salami, dry possibly stale, chalky not much chocolate. Will not be purchased again. Portuguese Cafe is cute inside and has lots of potential, however I didn't see Galão on the coffee board which is interesting.
This place is a really sweet place. great staff, Anytime I'm going to take my Grandma some sweets, I make sure to pop by here. Sometimes I get something for myself, and there's salmon on a bun is amazing.
Love this little bake shop. The cafe latte is my favourite and every time I order it tastes the same. Delicious. Desserts are always fresh. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is quaint.
We just moved nearby walking distance. I don't want to bash local companies but this is the second time we came in and again like other reviews stated the service is a bit cold and uninviting. There was fruit flies swarming the treats and I did notice walking by when closed that the food is kept overnight also, so many things are "day old" and should be priced as such. I got a cookie, coffee, and tart for $7. Not terrible pricing. Unsure about the tart and coffee as I am waiting for my dad to try. But my cookie was dry and stale and also tasted like it was made with oil and not butter. I know the heat is bad outside but the exterior of the restaurant also smells like garbage. It is such a cute spot with an adjoining chicken restaurant. I do not think we will come back nor give the chicken a try. They also do not have a hard copy menu or takeout menu to bring home... we wanted to keep one on the fridge to order in the future. Sad because we would have loved to come here after busy days at work and weekends to get the kids lots of treat! Please address these concerns.
