Erik You definitely have major issues, dealing with customers i was going to buy a car from you but you are not a person deserves to sell to a public, you are rude not a good person to deal with i changed my mind buying a car from you. Learn or Take lessons how to deal with customers or go back to OMVIC redo your test
Terry helped me to purchase a Subaru forester. We worked together to refine down a bit what kind of car I would be looking to purchase and walk me through the process. I was grateful to have him help me with this whole thing because this was the first time buying a car in about 10 years. He was also quite speedy in terms of getting the car for me and driving it back from the dealership auction. I was glad to have someone to ask my questions during the process and help me with safety/inspection, registration etc. I am happy with the car and it is in quite good shape overall even being a 2017. They don't let you test drive the car and demand cash money before checking the car, which is another level of "entitlement". Without checking the car, who will commit to such expensive transaction and why would they buy!!! This seems insane to me. Also their claim mismatches with the descriptions given in AutoTrader. Don't go to them!
The assertions made by this dealer in the car listing were erroneous. Specifically, he claimed that the vehicle had not been involved in any accidents, but upon examining the Carfax report, this statement was proven false. Moreover, the dealer disallowed us from inspecting the engine compartment or conducting a test drive until all negotiations were finalized. Consequently, visiting this dealership would result in an unproductive expenditure of both time and fuel, as the veracity of the information presented in their postings cannot be relied upon.
Tried to see a car at a certain time, spoke to salesman previous day, he promised to meet at a certain time. He never showed up and had their finance guy help me out. Checked out the car it was being sold as is. Sure I thought, I'm pretty good with cars I can inspect it myself... Body looked nice, price was pretty good. Had a hard time starting up, normal I thought, cause it's been sitting and it's cold. Waited for buddy to jump the car infront of me so I could get it out for a test. Checked the glove compartment and find documents about it having a diagnostic by previous owner that the transmission has internal damage. It needed a new transmission essentially. I asked buddy about it he said "really?" As if he didn't know. Red flag. They bought it from an auction. And when i asked them about it being traded in (which was listed on the ad) salesmen told me "the guy actually didn't say anything about it having any issues" instead of being honest about it being from an auction they just lied. Looked under the car, saw a big oil leak and the frame being covered in some goo... another red flag Decided I might as well drive it cause I came all this way, maybe It wasn't that bad. As soon as I pressed the gas, car died. Started it up again, car died again. Questioned finance guy "is this thing really safe to drive?, it might just stall on us mid drive" His answer: "it looks like it's not the car for you" Instead of being a liar and a cheat, remember that you're selling cars that are difficult for some people to save money for to purchase. Have some shame.
