My husband and I are expecting our first child and decided last minute to book the maternity to newborn package with Farida based on a friend referral. We had the most amazing experience working with Farida and her team. They made the maternity shoot so easy and fun for us and the pictures turned out absolutely incredible! We’re so happy with the pictures from our maternity shoot and looking forward to working with her during our newborn shoot in the fall. Farida was an absolute pleasure to work with! Being 33 weeks pregnant isn’t exactly a comfortable time, however Farida made this photoshoot a seamless experience! I got my hair and makeup done through Melissa, which Farida coordinated for me. It was as easy as showing up, sitting in a chair, getting all dolled up, changing into my outfit and then getting my photos taken. Farida was kind, patient and understanding throughout the whole process. Not once did I feel nervous and nor did my lip quiver as it normally would. Farida guided my husband and I shot after shot and she was detail oriented. Melissa also stayed for the entire shoot and would touch my hair as needed or fix my outfit when required. My husband and I received the edited pictures today; they turned out so beautiful and exactly how I had envisioned them. Farida was extremely professional and delivered the final pictures within the timelines she originally provided. Thank you Farida for being so awesome ❤️
Shooting with Farida always has been and always is a great experience for me and my little family. This past weekend was my second Maternity shoot with Farida and fifth overall through the years. Farida is so talented — customer service is always on point and the quality of work is always above and beyond our expectations. Farida’s genuine, relaxed and super caring vibe sets the tone for an always comfortable and easy going shoot (even if my toddler is screaming! Lol). The photos always turn out so great, I really cannot and do not want to have anyone else photograph our family but Farida. This weekend’s maternity shoot was fun and comfortable (as expected). All good vibes and laughs. Farida has a vision that must always be trusted and she is always open to trying new shots. And despite feeling like a walking bubble lol, I always leave maternity shoots with Farida feeling beautiful and strong. A maternity shoot with Farida truly helps the pregnancy feel like an empowering time especially in the third trimester! We booked Ms. Alvi and after our taking our deposit, she did not show up and told us because we did not go through the formal process we were not in the calendar (but she did accept the deposit. As if it is the customers fault?). Poor organizational skills aside, she offered a refund and her apologies. But that is not going to give us photos of the memories we want to save. Ultimately, if you do wrong you should do right. Customer service 101. Mistakes happen but doing the bare minimum will get you nowhere. I thought she should have at least offered a free family photo shoot or something in compensation. Terrible experience. Anyone booking, please be sure to purchase a day planner too.
I started working with Farida from my pregnancy pictures and have not looked back. From pregnancy to birth to baptism and every holiday...Her talent is unmatched!!!She truly never seizes to amaze me! Very professional, caring and personable. Highly reccomend Farida?
