I had a very long thick hair and sometimes it's hard to find a hairstylist that can style my hair the way i like it. So today decide to go here,and have my hair done. Sana was one of the hairstylist today.I showed Sana the hairstyle I wanted and boom she got it. Results: I freakin loved my new hairstyle. I highly reccomend Sana for sure..
Horrible experience and caused me a lot of pain. I'm a regular customer at this store who always gets her eyebrows waxed. I went a few days ago and got my brows waxed by a different lady for the first time (because my regular tech had another customer). After pulling the wax, I was in so much pain (before this, waxing here never hurt much before) and I checked in the mirror to find that my skin was red and burning. It got worse as time went by and I was convinced it was a burn so I went back to the store to show them and ask what happened and what I should do. When I showed the lady who waxed me, she immediately got defensive and started blaming MY skin, saying that this has never happened to her and it must have been a problem with my skin. When I told her that I was a regular customer and that this never happened before. But she unapologetically kept blaming my skin, making up excuses pretty aggressively for someone offering a service. My daughter had to point out how rude she was being after a customer came to her in pain because of a service she provided. Only after being called out did she apologize (also aggresively) but still claimed it wasn't her fault, that the wax wasn't even hot, that she had a lot of experience, and kept insisting that it was a problem with my skin. Only when my regular wax tech stepped in (who also agreed that this had never happened to me before) and apologized and offered a coupon did the lady calm down a little and become more apologetic. For reference, again, I'm a regular waxing customer. There has been no change in my diet, skincare, life events. She even blamed the weather when I'd gotten my eyebrows wax during this time of year plenty of times. Overall, it was painful and she was so rude, defensive, and not helpful at all. Also, my eyebrows weren't even waxed evenly.
This has NEVER happened before to me. I have been waxing my eyebrows for so many years. This time I got this reaction on my eyebrows area after waxing from here. At first, it was itching a lot, and I ran to the store right away for more cooling gel and asking why it’s happening. They couldn’t say much and gave me gel. I applied and it did nothing. My skin was burning and later I got at least 30 tiny bumps with pustules surrounding my eyebrows area. It’s horrible! I checked with someone who works in spa and here what I have to share: As I never had this issue; she suspected it was dirty wax. Did she double dip? Did she use witch hazel or a surface disinfectant before and after? Did she wash or sanitize her hands before? Did she use a cheap cream after? - I couldn’t answer any cause I don’t know! My eyes were closed. She said This is not a typical reaction at all, and she never seen a reaction like this in 9 years of her spa career life.

I recently visited Trade Secret Saloon in Shareway Garden branch and had the pleasure of getting my eyebrows done by NAHID. I cannot recommend her enough! She did an amazing job and I am very happy with the result. The staff at Trade Secret Saloon are all very professional and know their craft well. The atmosphere at the salon is also very welcoming and relaxing, which only adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for a great place to get your eyebrows done, I highly recommend NAHID at Trade Secret Saloon. You won't be disappointed!
I recently got a chance to visit Trade secrets Sherway gardens to pickup the holiday set from Moroccan oil holiday set. Honestly , this is my first visit to trade secrets at Sherway gardens and I was impressed how this store is a beauty paradise you can shop everything for your hair under one roof be it hair care products , combos, tools etc and at competitive prices. I was also impressed to see a well maintained salon area in the store and there were happy customers availing those services. The associate at the counter was really helpful and greeted me well. She helped me pick up the Moroccan oil holiday set as per my hair texture. she saw that I have thin and oily hair so I went ahead with her recommendation of getting volume holiday set by Moroccan oil. I am so glad I went ahead with her choice because the results are absolutely stunning.Moroccan oil is well known for its luxurious and natural affect on hair. This holiday set range has everything you need for a shiny hair makeover : shampoo which cleans your scalp well, conditioner which makes your hair soft but doesn’t weigh them down,spray mist which makes hair smell heavenly , a styling product which comes complimentary with this holiday set it makes hair look so glossy. I am so pleased with my experience at trade secrets Sherway gardens , the collection of hair care products and how the manager greeted me at the end made my experience memorable and I am going to their store more often now.
I would give this store less than 1 star if I could. It doesn’t surprise me that they have a 2 star rating. I purchased a product here that I LOVE and use all the time. I usually purchase it from Sephora and have never had an issue. Sephora was sold out and I was really happy when I found the last one here. Because I use the product all the time I didn’t think I needed the receipt anymore. When I went to open the product a week later to use it the colour was completely off it wasn’t the usual cocoa brown I’m used to but grey. I didn’t feel comfortable using it on my hair. I called and let them know that I didn’t have a receipt and asked if I could still return it after explaining the situation. I told her I was driving far so wanted to be sure. I was VERY clear in what I said. The lady said I couldn’t get my money back but get an in store credit. So I told her that was fair and I was on my way. After a long drive (I’m not close to sherway), I arrived and let them know I spoke to someone on the phone and would like to make the return. They said I need a receipt. I explained I called and spoke to someone and that’s why I just drove 45 minutes. They proceeded to tell me they couldn’t return the item, called me a liar, laughed and yelled at me. I left the store in tears. Literally just wanted a store credit for a product that couldn’t be used. They told me of their policies which was fair and I would’ve been fine with it if that’s what was explained to me on the phone. Honestly disgusting behaviour and horrible customer service. Farva (“the manager”) and Kianna should be ashamed. I have no reason to lie and drive 45 minutes…just a waste of my valuable time. If this business doesn’t do something about their staff and customer service not sure if they will survive the pandemic. Especially with Caryl baker across the way offering superior customer service.
