This place is horrible. The lady that works there on the weekends has absolutely no knowledge of anything. I ended up buying the wrong hair color because of her incompetence , which she admits. But like why have employees work somewhere like this with NO knowledge about anything related to hair? Waste of my time and money.

Went back today to return a product said we can't, only get store credit or exchange, was not told this when first there from different employee, we did find a different product to try. Told last time you can return. During this whole time talking to my wife like a dog like we are bothering her. I really don't understand how the blonde employee can even talk about hair products when she is wearing a WIG, pretty easy to see. Plus attitude from her WOW. Never going back there again, will order from Amazon better return policy and service then this store.
Affordable prices! Knowledgable and very helpful staff!! Wonderful customer service. Left with new amazing products that transformed my hair. They gave me the best products for my specific hair type and different options with different prices. Absolutely love this place.
This was the worst experience I've had interacting with someone in a long time. I went into this store on May 10th 2023 to pick up hair care products for my daughter. When I walked in, the cashier was assisting the only 2 customers in the store, I said hello and went to grab my products. I rode my motorcycle over, so I still had my helmet(visor open) and protective gear on. Maybe that is why the cashier felt entitled to such discriminatory behavior, but I was taken aback by the way she watched me picking out my products like I was about to steal something. While ringing her customers she had to turn 180 deg to observe me SHOPPING. I went to the cash as she was completing her transaction and to lighten the mood or commented on the way she was looking at me, expecting her to have a reasonable explanation, she stated "For the safety of our customers, when there are 5 or more people, I'm required to watch the customers closely". I commented that, including her, there had only been 4 people in the store and in all the times I had shoped there, no one had ever felt the need to specifically watch only me. She didn't provide any further explanation or apologize, just repeated statement and ended with the comments that "If I worked in retail I would know and cashed me out. She then discovered that I have an account and she actually rang me the prior visit. I had spent $218.27 that day and on average $170-200+ for my daughter's Mixed chicks Shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner 1 litter bottles. I'm not sure what happened or what I did wrong. To avoid escalating the situation, I still bought the products but I wish I hadn't. My hands were shaking from the experience. She was white, LOTS of makeup and in her early 20's/ early 30's I assume. I'm a Black male 5ft8 with full motorcycle gear on not trying to make it a race thing but rather give context to be fair to her. I've thought of posting this review immediately but I had decided first to experiment in the same outfit at many different merchants. No other place demonstrated this treatment or anything negative for that matter. I no longer shop at this location or its other stores. I SHOP AT CLORE BEAUTY SUPPLY. PRICES ARE WAY LESS.
Love this place. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. So helpful. Whenever I go in I know I will get the help and advice I need. They have a really great points program as well. Prices are excellent compared to big box stores. Lots of selection as well. Best place to go to in Etobicoke for beauty supplies. They seem to specialize in hair products. I even noticed extensions. I'll have to take a better look when I go next time. Parking is abundant and the location is convenient. Right off the highway.
I had just recommended this store, strictly because they carry a product I like, to a friend. She said when she went in the sales woman wouldn’t help her and basically said she didn’t have anything she was looking for and to go to Sally’s. When my friend asked where that was she said she had to help another customer and to Google it herself. Absolutely disgusting.
