Poor experience at the Sherway Gardens Boutique located in Etobicoke, Ontario. On February 24, 2024 I made a purchase, Geanina Monea, Montblanc Boutique Manager at this location mentioned the product will be received within two weeks. This was intended to be a gift. As of today, April 17, 2024 I have yet to receive my product. After my purchase was made on February 24, 2024 the boutique failed to contact me to inform me on the status of my purchase. I went in person to the boutique at the a few days prior to March 20, 2024 to check if it had arrived. This time, I was faced with poor customer service at the store. During the month of March, I asked one of my friends to call the boutique to check on the status of my purchase. As I was abroad and unable to call. She left them my email address for them to follow up with me. Prior to today, I did not receive any emails or calls from the boutique regarding my purchase. Today, April 17, 2024 Geanina Monea, Montblanc Boutique Manage called me and updated me on the status of my purchase stating my product should be arriving tomorrow. I expressed my disappointment and frustration. She offered me three options: 1. A watch pillow ( this holds zero value) 2. A travel jewlery case holder ( this also holds zero value) 3. 10% off on future purchases I mentioned to her these are not of interest to me as I am now rethinking my loyalty to the brand and option 1 & 2 hold zero value. She asked me multiple times what I would like. I replied explaining to her that I am not aware of Mont Blanc's policies and procedures and that it is not my job to figure out what can be offered to me to make up for the situation. Needless to say, I am quiet appalled at the treatment received and poor customer service from one of my favourite luxury brands. Lastly, it is worth mentioning, during our calls today Geanina cut me off several times and raised her voice at me. As the last resort, she has offered me a refund (not in my original form of payment but rather a check that will be mailed to my house) which will take several days to process- creating even further delays and the possibility of the check getting lost in the mail or stolen. I am truly disappointed and appalled by my shopping experience.
The store is beautiful. We are long time Montblanc customers, however we were quite disappointed in the customer service in this particular location. The sales lady wasn't too interested in helping us. Appeared to be bored and not engaging at all. Eventually walked away into another adjoining store. The best world class customer service is offered by the Toronto store. It's so good it'll blow your mind away!!!!
The Staff here is very nice and very attentive. They are knowledgeable about the products and are always willing to go above and beyond to order custom items. Enjoyed my shopping experience here.
