Amazing dosa. Really sweet host and the food is exactly what i was craving for. Everything is good with good quantity and the quality is what their food talks about. A must try if you haven’t. I’ll keep coming guys thankyou for the dosa and your service
I was at Islington subway station, and I was extremely hungry. Hyderabad Spices was just at the corner of the intersection so I gave it a go, and I am so glad I stopped to eat here! It’s now one of my new favourite South Indian restaurants in the city. I ordered the medu vada and tea combo, and it was delicious. I also got the daily special deal of buying one masala dosa and getting the second one for $2.99. Such a great find! :) If you plan to go there, please note: there is only one person taking the order, serving the customers, and cleaning the space, so do remember to tip (and ideally clean your own mess after you finish eating)
I tried chilli fish, cashew curry leaf chicken, fried rice and Biryani. All of the items we tried are very delicious and freshly made. My kids liked chill fish very much. Biryani is very authentic and taste was ultimate. I would highly recommend this place. The staff members were very kind.
I wanted to share how impressed we were with their food at the Tamil Diwali event,Milton. All the food items were exceptionally well-prepared, with flavours that were perfectly balanced. The chilli fish was a standout, and my kids loved it. Highly recommend this place for authentic Indian cuisine
Don’t ever try the biryani at this place — it’s terrible! It’s just carrots and broccoli with no flavor or masala at all. They call it “Hyderabadi Biryani,” but it’s nothing like it. I even told the guy, and he had no response. Definitely skip this place.
We've tried the chicken biryani, mutton biryani and the chicken tikka here. The mutton biryani and chicken tikka were very flavorful, while the chicken biryani was a bit bland for my taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait, but the food was fresh, so it was worth it. We'll return to try the samosas next time!
So flavourful and genuinely tastes like home cooking even if you are trying something you have never had before. It’s definitely a place you should work through the menu on return visits. The samosa is smaller than before and different, but still pretty good though. Right across from Islington Subway station so it’s a delicious stop on the way home from work!
