I have been to this First Choice in Etobicoke many times and each time the staff were both professional and gave great service. I would definitely recommend.
Such friendly stylists, I felt welcome by all. I had a wash, cut and style. Ileana did a fantastic job. I received very detailed and well constructed haircut. I went from long hair to a short, short bob. I am so happy.
Could not do a simple normal haircut. Gave up and denied when requested to improve their mistake. No clean up after the haircut. Behaviour of the employee was a little rude. Totally disappointed.
If you're in the mood for a comedy show disguised as a haircut, this is your place. I asked the sweet older lady who was working for a simple head shave, got some Picasso-level patchwork. She held the clippers upside down, shaved top to bottom, and left hair around my ears and in random spots. It honestly seemed like it was her first haircut ever. If you enjoy a bit of chaos on your head, give her a try. Just bring a hat.
Since I moved farther from this location, I've tried other stylists. No stylist compares to Angelo. He's now been my stylist for 20 years and counting. Same story with my son's hair: my son will be one of Angelo's long time clients as well.
I had a haircut with Elaina and it is great. However I had specifically requested service from Angelo, but he was too arrogant and didn't agree to cut my hair and didn't respect the fact that there was goodwill for him which he lost.
