As a tenant, I believe this location has great potential but could benefit from deeper training and awareness around inclusivity and professionalism. It’s important that diversity isn’t just represented on the surface, but reflected in the daily interactions, respect, and understanding shown toward all tenants and their clients. It’s an honour to be part of the representation here but equally important that this representation comes with space for our voices to be heard, not just seen. This location has tremendous opportunity to foster a truly inclusive environment, ensuring everyone feels heard, valued, and safe while carrying out their business (*Not just welcomed by appearance, but genuinely included and supported internally) This space has so much potential to grow and the point-of-entry concierge staff could benefit from improved training to strengthen professionalism, communication, and awareness helping to create a community that’s genuinely inclusive. For the first time in a long time the hairdresser gave me a haircut I have dreamed about it. Thst's Oksana. She listen to me and added her magic touch to make me happy.
This is a concept of multiple rooms where each room is a separately owned beauty salon. You have hair stylists, nails, messages, laser treatments, etc. The premise is clean and neat. All the owners are friendly and easy to talk to. There is plenty of free parking.
A convenient, functional, friendly, easy way to operate your small business. The Landlord is fantastic and addresses any of your issues in a timely fashion and the concierge is A class.
I have no regrets operating @ JC's for a little over 5 yrs. It's a must for hairdressers who are tired working for owners who take advantage of hard working hairdressers and take more then 50%. If you have the clientelle and courage.... This is the best setup for any hairdresser. Change is hard. I do miss my old co workers but I've met some great ones here too. Some have even followed me here shortly after. We have a very tight community of indipendant professionals who are very friendly and are very welcoming whom I treat like family. Thanks JC for giving me this environment to operate from so that I can experience freedom (work life balance). Cheers...
I got a haircut and styling from Antonio. He did a great job for a first cut, and we have already planned how to do the next few , once he has more length to work with. He has wonderful energy and the appointment was really fun! I found new new hairdresser - yay!
