TL;DR- Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect and feel like your business is valued. I have to give Solis only one star after a series of frustrating experiences. For new members, they require you to be there 10 minutes early, and we were just two minutes late on our first attempt, which meant we couldn’t attend that class. Fair enough, we rebooked and came back 15 minutes early the next time. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was quite disheartening . When I arrived, they asked if I was there for the 6:30 class. I said yes, and the staff member rudely corrected me: “No, it’s the 6:35 class, you’re not here for the 6:30.” I apologized for the rounding mistake, but it felt like an unnecessary correction that could have been handled much more kindly. Simply asking which class I was here for- reformer or yoga- would have been a lot more professional and welcoming AND avoided this situation altogether. On top of that, after the instructor told me to put my bag inside, I was yelled at by the front desk from across the room to wait outside. Despite all the emphasis on punctuality (including the 10 min rule) I wasn’t able to get into the room until 1 min before the class started. This caused more frustration because it seemed like the reason they turned me away the first time wasn’t the true reason. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the instructor, Laura, was phenomenal. She was super welcoming, clearly skilled, and her classes are really challenging! Luckily she also teaches at other studios across the city. My recommendation to Solis Etobicoke is to retrain or hire new front desk staff who are genuinely there to serve customers. Having clients feel valued and appreciated would make a world of difference!

Class was ok, but I had a hard time understanding the cueing. If I didn't already know the movements, I would've been completely lost. I was also disappointed that the instructor didn't ask about injuries to offer proper modifications. Additionally, the front desk experience wasn't very welcoming. I was new to the studio and arrived early to look around and see where I could leave my things, but the girls doing check-in gave off a bit of a mean vibe. The only person who actually offered to show me around was the girl who makes the drinks(not the staff checking people in) Overall, it didn't feel super friendly for someone visiting for the first time.

Be cautious before joining this studio. I was wrongfully charged a no-show fee twice. First, after I actually attended a class and checked in. Second, when I was moved off a waitlist at 2 AM for a 9 AM class—then charged because I didn’t see the middle-of-the-night email. Their policies are unfair, and management takes no accountability. Classes are overcrowded, and customer care has declined since they expanded. If you value your time and money, consider other options.

Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Instructors listen and are consistently well informed about safe movement and modifications. I modify quite a bit and do a lot of counter rotational releases/movements during class, and the instructors never judge and encourage this which I appreciate as student autonomy. Safe movement and injury prevention is number one to me as often when you do group fitness classes you can leave with more injury if not careful. The reformer classes are my favourite, the studio itself aesthetically gives me Tulum vibes. The hot HIIT Pilates and yoga is on point, pithy classes great for someone like me who needs a quick focused workout on lunch during the work week. Highly recommend! Special notice to Danielle, Aleks, Mercia and Remy! Such a positive and encouraging space for ALL bodies at ALL levels!

This studio is very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The instructors and everyone here are kind. I enjoy the reformer classes a lot. The yoga classes are alright. The music is too loud and sometimes can’t hear the instructor. You’re also VERY close to your neighbours, so I found it hard to relax. A little bit more space between people would be better. I won’t be back to the yoga classes for this reason. The classes fill up quickly and I find that you need to book at least a week in advance to secure a spot. One thing I don’t get is charging a $15 late fee if you cancel under 10 hours (I think) if there’s a waitlist and the class will fill up regardless. There’s typically always a waitlist. I think the time to cancel with a penalty should be shortened as life happens that you may need to cancel. Edit: spelling mistake

Absolutely love this studio! Everything from reformer Pilates, and yoga to mat classes, And so so much more convenient location, amazing team, most kindest people, and really push you to your full potential! I love working out with and being part of the Solis Community

5/5 for class quality and atmosphere. The studio is beautifully decorated. However, change room space in Etobicoke studio is tight and not very comfortable.

Unfortunately, this is another false review from Anna Cyzon posted under a fake name. Right now, Google does not offer any protection against fake reviews.
