When we arrived at our hotel near the Toronto Pearson Airport late on a wintry night we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Bite restaurant next door to our hotel was still open and even more pleased when we really enjoyed our late evening meal. My wife and I shared three fish tacos, an iceberg lettuce wedge salad with blue cheese and a bottle of Australian Chardonnay at a very reasonable cost. It really hit the spot!
My husband and I stayed in hotel next door and looked for a place to eat and saw this place had great reviews. They definitely didn’t disappoint! I had the fish tacos and husband had the chicken Cesaer wrap with poutine. He said it was the best poutine he has ever had. My fish tacos were perfectly seasoned and portions so generous. The staff were so welcoming. I can’t say enough of how great this place is. Try it… it will not disappoint
Fast and courteous service. Was a quiet Tuesday night though. Good size portions, both poutine and the side salad for our tasty montreal smoke meat on brioche. (Poutine could have used a few more curds, perhaps layered underneath). Price spent pp includes a drink each.
HARD PASS The best thing I had was the Canada Dry in a can. Bite had a limited menu on the Friday evening we went. Food was basic and disappointing relative to the good reviews. Server was very nice.
Getting the free breakfast offered by hotel. Worker sneezed all over bread products and continued touching the bread. Told her that was disgusting as she went to put the bread back for serving. She took some of the bread products she sneezed all over to the back room and came back with I assume the same bread she sneezed on as it was the same amount and positioned the same way. She left the English muffins and sure didn’t wash her hands as she is supposed to based on the sage food handling guidelines.
Just got home from Bites for dinner all I can say is you must try this fabulous place the waitress was so upbeat and attentive and the food was exceptional very covid responsible will definitely get the word out to everyone I know trust me and visit Bites you will love it the burger and fries were cooked to perfection thanks for the fantastic meal and service
The Bite Burger and Montreal smoked meat are a must try. Say hi to Joe, the owner while your there. Excellent service, food and drinks. Really nice job with their renovations too.
