My experience with Waterfront Physio has been nothing but positive. When you walk in the front door, there is "Maverick," the quietest Boston Terrier you will ever meet. That's calming. Appontment imes are respected, so within 5-10 minutes I am getting a 10-minute pre-decompression therapy back rub andheat pad treatment from very well-informed Ms Ayushi Mehra. I have a chronic condition which requires immediate attention when it flairs up. I decided to try this clinic which is within walking distance from my home and it was the best decision I made. The physiotherapist Simoni, who was assigned to me, was very helpful after taking a thorough history of my medical condition. She was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and caring. Most of all, she was very thorough in working on my condition, giving detailed explanations and home exercises to help reduce the amount of flare ups I’ve been experiencing. The results from my first appointment were amazing. The staff is also very friendly and caring. I definitely recommend this clinic which I will continue to use.
Did an imposter take on someone else’s client? Very disappointed to learn the details of how an appointment unfolded that was looked forward to by someone desperately needing proper attention and whom had specifically book a type of treatment that was never delivered. How can all of these reviews be so starkly positive and this experience, reportedly not only a disappointment but rushed and thoughtless, exist at the same time. Professionals wouldn't be capable of a one off appointment as riddled with shortcomings as this was. There have to be other people walking away feeling so opposite to these reviews that they don’t report here. So many, Understandable, Things can go wrong in life and are clearly just a one off, or small error. This is something else. This was yesterday. The treatment sought was Tuina which is supposed to be very involved and specialized and can *include* cupping. The appt started hastily with instructions to *get on the table so no time will be wasted* —drive thru wellness. Client was then asked why they were there. They had filled out a detailed form. *THAT* was how time was to be saved: a preparedness on the practitioners part followed by further inquiry would be to expect but NOPE straight to cups,, not a proper table with hole for body aligned neck/head. practitioner leaves after light chit chat, acknowledging that the client has had long term pain but does NOT relay strategy. Treatment room light is banged on with a loud smack. Zero vibe of this being an important self care time, sacred moment to heal, relax etc. Was the person who performed this the same one promised on the website who is supposed to know this intricate practice of Tuina?
Simoni was very professional, knowledgeable and powerful (lol) She did a great job on my neck and back pain by finding the right tensed muscles. Definitely coming back in 2 weeks! Just a prescription from ur doctor and get a good physio with her!
Ayushi is one of the best physiotherapists who has ever treated me around lake shore west. She is focusing on her patients and helping them with great service and care. Thank you for your efforts
