Okay, so I went in looking like a capital 'I' and feeling like a cement block had been strapped to my shoulders. My posture was basically a direct quote from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I told Ate Rosvi, the therapist—a sweet lady who clearly moonlighted as a professional wrestler—that only my eyebrows are free from sore. I had knots that required their own zip code. She gave me a laugh that seemed to say, "Don't worry, I'm about to perform an exorcism on your back." She started and I realized deep tissue isn't a technique, it's a verbal contract with pain, signed by relief. There were moments where I was pretty sure she was trying to find my spine with her elbow, and I definitely mumbled, "Say hi to my gallbladder for me." But every time she found one of those stubborn, three-year-old stress boulders, and it finally popped—oh, the sweet, sweet soundless victory! I spent the whole hour somewhere between a state of blissful oblivion and trying to mentally calculate if I had enough strength to get up. When it was over, I was told to "take my time getting up." Good thing, because my limbs had forgotten how they worked. I stood up and realized I was about three inches taller. My shoulders were so relaxed, they were suddenly where they were supposed to be, not aggressively shielding my neck. I left the room floating, my brain a clean, empty chalkboard. 10/10 Highly recommended!!!
Rosvi has the most magical hands, her pressure is always right. She is incredibly attentive, always listens to my needs, and provides the best technique to suit my concern. Very therapeutic experience! She has many years of experience and also works in a renowned Spa. I definitely recommend her, she is the best!!
