Rude, unprofessional, price gouging. LOL you can't deliberately overcharge on basic items and hope to keep getting people who don't know any better. It doesn't work this way in real life. Eventually this owner will close store down because he will just run out of fools to take advantage of. Came in here looking for a basic phone case for an old Lg g4 android and dude basically tried selling me a used case for nearly 50 bucks. A used scratched up case for an old android phone? That's the equivalent of spitting in someone's face.
Excellent experience.. a pleasure to deal with the owner. He repaired my vintage Mido I purchased while I waited. Friendly and pleasant experience. Would highly recommend.
I brought a bracelet to be repaired at this shop. The owner took my item and my information, and told me I would get a call in a couple of days to let me know when it was done. However I did not get a call from the owner for over a week. When I decided to revisit the store to see what was happening with my bracelet, the owner let me know my bracelet had been finished for some time. When I asked why I wasn't called and notified, he said I have a long distance number and he could not call me. He then told me I should of called him to find out about my bracelet. I then reminded him, that I'm the customer in this situation and if a business says they will call me, the expectation is to get a call, not for me to have to call him to follow up. I have a Montreal area code, so this shouldn't be a big issue for a business to call me. When I questioned why he couldn't complete the call, he made it seem as though it was my fault he couldn't reach me. I asked him to try dialing my number while I was there to see why he couldn't complete the call to me. When he did, there was an automated message, telling him to dial "1" before the number to complete the call. This made me very upset, because instead of just dialing "1" before my number to contact me, he just hung up and never attempted to call me again, and then blamed me for having a "long distance number" as to the reason why I wasn't contacted. After all this I just wanted to pay for my item and leave the store, because, to me, I was being treated poorly with terrible customer service, however I couldn't. When I tried to pay with my debit card, for whatever reason, even the owner couldn't explain, my debit card wouldn't not work with his machine So I had to walk to Sobeys to take out cash to pay for the item. The owner did not show any understanding of customer service, and only apologized after I returned with cash and paid for the item. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with how I was treated. I will now take my business elsewhere, despite him being the closest jeweler to me.
Got a 18k bracelet and it broke on the same day when I was sleeping. I took it back and told what happened, the owner said I had cut the bracelet and he would do me a favor to fix it but could not take it back. My family was in the jewelry business for years and this is basic, you take the defective item back, return to the factory, and apologize to the customer. Please don’t buy anything here, they don’t provide any warranty.
Came in to get 3 watch batteries replaced and had a fantastic experience with Edward. You can tell he is an expert at what he does. Highly recommend -- great service, very fast and fair pricing (even took out links for free from a watch to ensure it fit me properly). The store may look closed but it's open. There's a sign that says to either knock or call a phone number since only one customer at a time is allowed in. Great service, will be back thanks Edward!
