I'm a new member to this gym and heard that they have new pieces of equipment since there was recent renovations. They were a blast to use and the variety of their stuff is genuinely insane. A few concerns I have are related to inaccurate information and equipment condition. One staff member told me the gym had an Atlantis tricep press, but the machine is actually from Hammer Strength, and due to the seat design, it is difficult to use properly, as it lifts you off the seat during the movement, rendering the machine unusable. In addition, the abductor and adductor machines feel rough when in use and stop midway through the movement, which feels like they may not be properly lubricated. However, the biggest issue is with the treadmills. The maximum session time is limited to 30 minutes, and there is no option to enter your weight. It is disappointing that so much was invested in high-end strength equipment while the cardio machines appear to have been neglected. The equipment choices are questionable. Much of the older equipment was removed, even though several friends of mine felt it was better, and it was replaced with machines that see little to no use. Overall the gym is really cool and most of the staff (the overnight ones at least) are really friendly and easy to talk to
I’ve been coming here for a while and although the upgrades to the gym itself have been great- I would give this place a five star but unfortunately some of the staff is rude& have ZERO customer service skills specifically speaking about the male trainers who are there in the afternoon/ evenings. They don’t even greet you when you come in and it’s like you’re invisible… it is very unwelcoming. Can the “influencers” stop using their cameras in the change room and leave their stupid tripods at home instead of the middle of the gym floor? How about the people who don’t put their equipment away or wipe down what they’ve used Aside from these issues - I love that this place is open 24/7.
Gyms fire, been going here since last year. Some niche equipment, and they have the basics + some more. Washroom is not that clean but Simple fix on my end lol. There's some pretty crazy machines in here
This gym is great for those focusing on strength building, no cameras and no bull, everyone is helpful and supportive there is no shaming in this place staff are great been coming for years.
The gym has a great atmosphere. On the other hand, the team, led by manager Nora, consists of knowledgeable, highly professional & helpful staff working in collaboration as a team.
Was recommended by 2 friends to try out this place. The gym is right off the 401 before hwy 27. It has amazing hours to fit anyones schedule. The place is large enough to have a great workout. The machines look well maintained. Bathrooms are well maintained. Friendly environment. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a gym to achieve your goals at your own hours.
An honest 2 year review: I've held off reviewing for a long time to give my best opinion. This gym, in comparison to other similarly scaled gyms is really good value and quality. The equipment has got much better, though they have taken out some older equipment that were better in function. Some Cons; - some of the staff can be more professional in conduct. - It's getting busier and more crowded during peak times - the plates (mainly 45lbs) feels inconsistent in weight. If they got a newer shoulder shrug machine, and replaced the plates to a newer and accurately weighted plates, it would be 5 stars. Overall, an excellent gym.
