A Hidden Gem in Humber Bay Shores This spot is a true hidden gem—perfect for a romantic dinner. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is attentive without being overbearing, and overall, it’s a place I’d highly recommend. The Rougie Foie Gras Parfait was a standout—generous in portion and rich in flavor. I also tried the Cast-Iron Veal Chop, which surprisingly outshone the aged Prime Rib Eye. I had high hopes for the rib eye, but while it was decent, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. One unexpected highlight was the freshly homemade baguette. It’s not complimentary (priced at $4), but absolutely worth it—crisp, fresh, and deeply satisfying. To end the meal, the Royal Chocolate Cake was excellent—complex in both flavor and texture, making for a memorable finish. Reservation is needed.

Exceptional Dining Experience – Highly Recommended! Rougié Foie Gras Parfait – A standout dish! Generous portion of rich, aromatic foie gras parfait served on toast, paired beautifully with fresh greens and a wild berry compote. The flavor balance was exceptional. Must-try! Warm Lobster Crab Cake – Crispy on the outside, packed with fresh lobster and crab meat on the inside. The ratio between the two was just right—delicate texture and naturally sweet flavor. Topped with fresh mango for a refreshing twist. Highly recommended! Steak & Frites – Although the medium-rare steak was slightly overcooked, the 21-day aged prime rib eye still delivered. Intense beef flavor, juicy, and tender. A solid dish overall. Boneless Whole Fish – Limited availability daily. You can request to keep the whole fish intact, which was beautifully seasoned with fresh, sweet meat. The chef even came out personally to chat and deboned it tableside after I mentioned there were still a few bones left – lovely touch! (〃ω〃) Bavarois du Jour – Light, creamy, and silky-smooth, with real fresh strawberries folded in. Melts in your mouth. Very enjoyable. Royal Chocolate Cake – Moist, airy, and deeply rich in chocolate flavor. A chocolate lover’s dream. Definitely recommend!✨

Summerlicious meal... The seafood pasta wasn't very good and the lobster were nothing special. I had the steak and my friend the fish of the day, both great. Dessert nothing special. Server was alright. We didn't know where to go to get in and a resident told us to go up the stairs, apprently that was the wrong door bc it was locked so the staff didn't seem to pleased even tho we apologized. Not horrible but not amazing. Great vie2s tho.

One of the biggest dining disappointment in Toronto against the surprisingly raving reviews online. What we saw was poor quality ingredients, subpar culinary effort, food that is simply tasteless, presentation that is a joke, silverware that makes you wonder if you are actually at some low-end joints, and sparse service. Wonder if they are trying to make a quick profit through Winterlicious at $75. Not the first time getting disappointed by restaurants but by this much, Veloute sets a record

I have not eaten at their restaurant but I can't say enough good things about Veloute. They catered a family party for us. The food was excellent - many of our guests commented on how good the food was - and they went out of their way to make the evening absolutely perfect for us! Thank you 1000 times! We highly recommend Veloute and are looking forward to dining there in the new year!

Really bad experience at this place, they are not helpful and the food was really bad more than you imagine , and I didn’t eat it and they don’t even ask what wrong, I don’t recommend this place at all. Will never visit again

The patio at the back is perfect for summer shade and there’s something very relaxing about sitting out there. The staff are warm and welcoming. And in particular the chocolate molten lava cake is to die for!

My answer to your scam just posted above to Google. When we refuse to do advertising with Google that’s what happen and taking off our review and have someone posting something like that without even know what the food we are serving, can’t even mention one dish and the silverware dosnt even know the value of imported silverware from Italy, what a scam
