When we entered First Class for the 1st time, Joseph gave us his full attention and assisted us in choosing the best flooring for our home; we left with 2 samples. A week later, Joseph remembered us and managed to assist again while having a customer. From start to finish, Joseph & Paul's service was exceptional. Thank You.
From the time of delivery, product looked different from what I saw at First Class Flooring. I was initially told it was the outside lighting that made it look different (second picture), but the possibility existed that there could have been a “performance sample” with a glossy more real-oak finish (first picture). I regret this purchase immediately, because it would have cost me $1000 in freight to do a swap. Job is completed & I have 4 boxes remaining, although Joseph told me there would be a 35% restocking within 30 days, this was misleading because apparently “due to the price I was given [$4.29 sq ft], this was a final sale”. NEVER AGAIN!!
Very poor customer service to say the least. Someone came to my house to look at water damage in the basement to my hardwood over two months ago. He took samples I had to see if they could match. Six weeks later I visited the showroom to find out that they lost my contact info so I provided again and three weeks later still no call. I retrieved my samples and I would hate to see if all customers are treated this poorly. Looks like I will get my whole 3000 sq foot house redone now but will definitely be looking for someone else to provide.
The sales rep, Joseph, was a pleasure to deal with. However, poor communication on the part of management led to confusion, embarrassment and wasted time.
Beware of a fancy showroom, the prices here are very over inflated. The sales guy had no knowledge of basic questions. They sell inferior products and will not back up what they sell. SCAM ALERT This picture is of the installed floor at my house. FC refused any responsibility. Go somewhere else.
Been using First Class for years. New store on Marmac is great. Well outfitted for the hardwood flooring installer and sanding contractor. Ralph the owner is a great resource. Tips and assistance. He knows the products he sells.
