I was obsessed with that skirt I bought, and even though I normally wear a size 38, I still bought it in a size 42 (my size was sold out)because I trust Ali that much when it comes to alterations. This was a pleated skirt, so when narrowing the waistline, taking it in from the back could have easily ruined the pleats if it wasn’t done properly. I drove all the way from North York to see him, about a 34 minute drive, and I honestly could not be happier with the result. The skirt has yellow stitching on the pleats, and in the areas where he had to undo and re stitch the seams, he matched the exact same shade of yellow. That level of attention to detail really impressed me. I would fully trust him with even my most expensive pieces. I am genuinely so happy with his work, and I no longer stress about where to take clothes that are too big or need alterations.
They Butchered My Wedding Dress - RUINED the Train I entrusted my gorgeous satin gown to this shop for alterations, and they completely destroyed it. Without my consent, they CUT OFF THE TRAIN. The owner admitted it was a "misunderstanding" but the damage was done. Further inspection revealed twisted straps and chalk marks everywhere. It was a complete hack job. Do not trust them with your dress. Go elsewhere.
I've been coming here regularly (past 2 years) for alterations—mainly to hem my pants and T-shirts—and they always do an outstanding job. The quality is consistently top-notch. Stitches are perfectly straight and clean with no loose threads in sight and they always match the thread to the fabric so well that you’d never know the piece had been altered. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows in the attention to detail. You do pay a bit more than some other places (maybe $5 more) but it’s absolutely worth it for the reliability and craftsmanship. Highly recommend if you want your clothes handled with care and precision. Just a tip, if you pay in cash, they are more flexible with pricing.

The customer service, skills and care is outstanding. I brought seven different types of clothes I am extremely satisfied with services and price is reasonable. Finally found my go to tailor definitely recommend the place for any alterations and tailor’s services.
Hit or miss. I have taken my items here before and not had any issue until it came to the most important garment of my life: my wedding dress It needed a very simple alteration, I gave them extended time to do so, still was not finished in time and after holding it hostage for 3.5 weeks at their shop, it came back with all the wrong alterations done to it (things I very specifically asked to be done and they verbalized they understood) and not the specific alternation I asked for. I now had less than a week to fix everything wrong with it, which I did by going to someone else more reliable and trustworthy. My dress still wasn’t the same after, because I don’t know what they all did to it, it never fit the same. I returned back to this shop in tears to have my money returned to me, because after all that I don’t believe I should have to pay… especially now that I’m having someone else fix it and cause me some of the worse stress I’ve ever had. The owner would not admit what they had messed up, giving multiple excuses, trying to shift blame onto me, then eventually reluctantly giving me a refund. I would have left it at that and likely wouldn’t have even left a bad review, but then this happened: He then proceeded to text message me after I left the shop, accusing me of crying to get my way. It was my wedding dress! That they ruined! He would not stop text messaging me after asking him many times to leave me alone, so I had to block his number. I found this to be really harassing. I will not be returning to this shop and like I said, I previously had good experiences with them but this was an absolutely horrific one.
So, we I got this beautiful dress for my mum and it was too long. In the first picture she is standing on a stool and you can’t see the stool that’s how long the dress was. With the beautiful lace design at the bottom meant this could not be shortened at the bottom. This had to be put apart to shorten it from the waist and the tailor did a great job as you can see. It doesn’t look like this was put apart and sewn together again. 100% satisfied, job perfectly done. He even extended the zipper which made it easier for my mum to put it on. Highly recommended, will definitely be coming back. Thank you!
