Got the chicken with broccoli and noodles special on Thursday evening, and immediately felt sick, all of Friday Saturday and Sunday was suffering from food poisoning on bed rest, threw up. Would not recommend this place. Very disappointed will not be coming back.
i got hustled for a small portion of chicken and vegatables with a some rice for $14. the food wasnt even that good. i will never go back again. stomach hurts after eating it too.
The Golden Wok Special Chicken with Rice White Rice instead of fried rice is delicious, sweet, spicy and crispy! If you like sweet and sour and chilli chicken, you will love this!
Known this place for long time, and I think it gotten better over the years. Recently ordered a take out, Ginger Beef and a box of 12 fried chicken wings from appetizer section. Everything tasted fresh, beef was amazing.
Ordered a simple Szechuan chicken with fried rice and wasn’t awful but I know they have made it better before. Rice didn’t taste the same and they cut the amount given. The service wasn’t bad or amazing just in the middle. Lady looks tired which is understood since it’s family owned business (has young child behind counter with her sometimes). All the chairs are removed, so there is no where to sit which I understand since there is a high school across the street that must cause some issues. Overall it was just mediocre and I expected more which I’m sure they are capable of. Would be beneficial if they could find another worker if possible. Furthermore I hope this restaurant improves for the next time I come back and becomes more passionate about their food.
Ordered general tao chicken there were no vegetables, onions, sweet pepper's, nothing. Sauce was smeared over the fried chicken, voila we have gen Tao chicken. Plain fried rice with barely any vegetables. Will not recommend.
So so so so great! Such yummy food coming from such a humble store. The student deal has definitely saved me hundreds of dollars! The people working here are angels! Definitely some of the best smoothies and food in the plaza! Keep up the good work Golden Wok!
