Scotty 2 Hotty! First time having Scotty Bons and it completely blew me away as I always drive past it for work. A client told me how amazing it was and how the portions were really great value for the dollar and in today’s eco, they really nailed it. I had to play it safe with the reg Scotty box where it’s half and half of everything. The flavours were amazing down to even the colours of the plate as we tasted the rainbow. It was so good that based off the half box alone, I knew my order going forward would be the rice & peas, bbq chicken with coleslaw, which is hands down fantastic! The chicken is tender, glazed and has a sweetness to it, the rice and peas were perfectly seasoned and not dry like Caribbean Heat / Queen, and the slaw happily married everything together in one bite. This is truly the spot and I will definitely be back as this type of soul food just hits every tastebuds.
Scotty bons has always been an untouchable and perfect spot when it comes to food in Toronto but Vince's service was truly amazing and made the experience just that much better. Thank you again and keep up the amazing work
Friendly service. Nice and clean location. A bit of a pain to get in and out of since you can only go right on Rexdale but it’s not the end of the world.
The Filipino staff is super stingy here, take ur business to a different location. , They spent 5 minutes looking for the smallest piece of chicken to put on my bowl. Why so stingy? I’m paying 18$ for a bowl… the whole Staff is weird and bicker in their language making u feel awkward
Never ordering Scotty Bons ever again. Ordered the shrimp sandwich and woke up the next day with food poisoning and a bad headache. I'm assuming their food handling standards are atrocious. I thought this place was an authentic Caribbean restaurant.
Jamaican here… first time at Scotty Bons and I’m impressed!!! Seriously great flavour in the jerk chicken, boneless too… how they got such a great char on the outside yet tender and flavourful inside was impressive. Three of us, all loved and will be back.
