Walked in with wife and kids around 5pm, from the inner mall entrance all the way inside. Spent a minute realizing these ppl who seemed to be employees, am not sure were busy playing music or drinking. I was never greeted, and in fact it seemed like they hoped we would leave to which I acquiesced.
I randomly chose this place to stop and grab some chicken wings. Super authentic and recommended to those who miss Caribbean food in Toronto frequently
At first glance, the restaurant appears small from the outside, but the interior is surprisingly large. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The decor is outdated, dirty, above our heads and desperately in need of a complete overhaul—it’s practically crying out for help. Our experience with a group of 20 was disappointing. It appeared that only one server was handling the entire floor, and as the evening progressed, they were clearly overwhelmed. No water was served, food was delivered sloppily, and the service lacked coordination. Later in the evening, the atmosphere took a turn for the worse. The buffet area began to fill up with single, intoxicated men, and with no proper bar area to contain that crowd, the restaurant felt more like a poorly run "RUM" shop than a family-friendly establishment—despite being in a prime location attached to a mall.
I love the flavours of this Caribbean Chinese restaurant. I love the Cantonese Chow Mein, spicy shrimp, chicken wings and fried rice. The atmosphere is very casual and seems to be a local hangout for many to go after work for a drink, but the food is worth it. Caribbean Heat has a few locations. Albion Road & Keele Street both have dine in or take out. The location could use an update of furniture and decor but I hope they don’t change the food.

Last night Jan 20 2025, my friend and I went to this place and when we entered the dining area the girl at the bar rudely said how no dining and I asked can we sit at the bar no you can't very rudely. At the same time some others were at the bar playing cards and drinking. I decided to order takeout. I ordered chicken and goat curry. It is the worst curry I ever had in my life. The chicken curry was made with fried chicken nuggets and the goat was so tough to eat. Alex if you see this you need to let the skinny girl go. She ia very rude. Please improve on your curries..i will never recomenend curries from this location.
I went there twice and had their food. It's no good. It's like they reheat the food and give it to you. The chicken wings were awful. They needed to change the chefs. The cleanliness is a zero people going out to enjoy a meal and the atmosphere, and I have to say this specific location didn't meet any criteria in all levels, so sorry to say but some one needs to speak up. You can't think about money and don't serve fresh food and have a clean place. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they make changes .
