The owner/manager - grey hair- Chinese looking guy(description). He is really rude. I just asked for a glass of water politely, and he started to lecture me, I left his shop politely-without any argument and he got offended that I didn’t listen his full lecture, although i’m there regular customer. He even followed me to my store to lecture more and came inside my store where I work(felt like a creep), to lecture me again and told me very rudely that they will nor serve me if I go to their shop again and that I should not visit there. This is extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour specially working in mall and that too when I’m working in same lane. I would really urge to the company to look into this matter and reconsider having him as the manager or owner.
They have a variety of food and drink options. Quality is pretty good too. I love both their sweet and savoury pastries. The owner is very friendly too. They have some tables just outside too for their patrons.
It was my first time au pain dore bakery. The display of food is very nice. I ended up getting the smoked salmon sandwich, I think it was on the multigrain croissant. It comes with mixed greens, cucumber and pickled onions. I didn’t get it toasted. I also got a small vanilla latte. I really enjoyed both, but I couldn’t get over the fact that all this costed me $20. Definitely over priced, but it was fresh and tasty. Guess you get what you pay for.
Extremely disappointed with the way an elderly woman and I were treated at this place in the Sherway Garden. I purchased their croissants and sat down to eat on a weekday. We were told to leave the place without even asking if we purchased anything from their cafe. This elderly woman in her walker and I were asked which was extremely insulting and not fair. Others sitting down were not asked to leave like we were told. Totally unfair treatment and customer service and there was no apology given for the mistreatment by the owner. Never returning here again. Terrible service and very discriminating people.
Staff is friendly. Service is fast. But the grilled cheese is not worth serving. No flavour and the cost is too high. I believe the grilled cheese is made with some kind of oil instead of butter. I haven’t tried the pastries, they might be redeeming.
Really like this place. The food is good and from the couple times I went here the lady working there was really nice and helpful with reccommending menu items.
It is 9:04 in the morning, doing my daily walk at Sherway Gardens… needed coffee. Food court was still closed. Good thing Brioche is open early- ordered my Cafe Americano and a ham and bacon quiche. Saved my morning…good coffee, good quiche? definitely coming back!
