Purchased what I was told was their best and the amount of knots and discoloration in the lumber is atrocious. If you care at all buy elsewhere. Accounted for waste but didn't account to only be able to use one plank in each box. Received a load of very expensive fire wood.

We purchased 1600sq' of natural red oak Vintage hardwood flooring from Allied Flooring in Ottawa this spring. We LOVE the result and the product. Lots of 5''-7' lengths and easy installation. We have no hesitation in recommending Vintage Hardwood Flooring.

I have been installing hardwood for 20 years in new home construction. There are so many inferior products out there. Vintage in my opinion has to be the best prefinished manufacturer of 3/4 solid and engineered in North America. I've installed millions of square feet and about half of that is vintage. In my twenty years I have seen two questionable defective floors from them that they warrantied, yet dozens upon dozens from other manufacturers, who fight all warranty issues. Anyone with a decent knowledge of hardwood flooring will tell you the majority of the 1 star reviews are not product issues. Buy this product with confidence, just make sure you as a customer do your part to maintain a proper environment and cleaning.

I have been in the hardwood trade over 30 years and have installed about every brand in the market. Our company does about 200 floors per year. Quality of this flooring is one of the best and milling is superior to most. I notice most negative reviews are from people without much knowledge on wood flooring. All wood floors change color due to sunlight and oxidation, all wood floors expand and contract with humidity changes, all wood floors are prone to water damage and all wood dents and scratches. We have installed over 200,000 sq. ft. of Vintage products with 0 claims. We will continue to sell this product and highly recommend!

Poor quality floor, paid 12.00 sq ft for a 5inch hand scraped hardwood floor. Boards are peeling, boards are cracking. They are blaming it on water damage and our dog. They do not stand behind their product. Stain comes off when wiping the floor using their recommended cleaning product. Will never buy their products!

We normally don’t submit reviews, but in this case I just had to. Very very disappointed in this product. If I could rate it a negative rating I would. We purchased engineered hardwood flooring 4 years ago. We purchased this product because of the reputation (?) and warranty that Vintage has. But, unfortunately we were fooled. One year after they were installed we started seeing waves throughout the floors. After further inspection we noticed that there were cracks on some of the planks and the floor looked like they were cupping. We contacted the company where we purchased them and they came to inspect. They noted all the issues and advised that they would check to see if there was a recall, “not to worry they have a 25 year warranty” on their product….however we never heard back. I sent them a couple of emails …..again never heard back. I decided to contact Vintage directly. I sent them emails of photos showing the problems. After a few weeks they replied indicating that there was nothing wrong with their product and that there was nothing they could do?!!! So, what happened to their warranty, obviously they don’t stand by their product. They didn’t even come by to check, they just based their opinions and conclusions on a couple of photos. Be warned, the company does not stand by their product. If I had to do it again I would NEVER purchase this product.

Ordered the Vintage hardwood floor cleaner online. 3 bottles with free S&H. The parcel arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. Delivered to my door cheaper than I could have bought it locally!
