Good service, good contemporary vibe of a bar. It has some virtual games and a pool table. Good options for tap beer and food. Tehy have options of mini piticher, that is really good options for individuals. A mini-pitcher = 2 pints. if you are missing old time Bar vibes this is one of that place to visit.
Found this place with an online search looking for something convenient based on location for a friend and I to meet at. Really enjoyed the first visit so brought another friend to dine here at a later date. Once again was very pleased. Staff was friendly and attentive both times. Variety of menu items is great and had no misses with taste or portion size. Prices decent. Parking is plentiful but a bit confusing on payment. Signage indicates it’s a paid lot but I didn’t either time. The restaurant staff assured me it wasn’t necessary. Didn’t get ticketed either time. Likely a cash grab from building management? Pictured below are the cajun calamari, shepherds pie and quesadilla with greek salad.
We live in the area and decided to try this Tavern based on good ratings. Unfortunately, our experience did not match our expectations. When we arrived, the restaurant was half full, however it took close to 5 minutes for one of the waitresses to acknowledge our presence and offer a seat. Next, we spent about 10 more minutes waiting for someone to give us a menu or take our drink order. At that point we simply decided to leave and have our dinner at another restaurant. Do not go here if you are not a regular!
? I didn't enjoy my experiences here. I find this is a small location & certain establishments have a hard time with newer clientele. Meaning I think the management and the staff do a good job but I paid for beer and they tried to put me in a taxi and I lost my telephone. I'd like to say that I look forward to better experiences here but despite the hard-working staff and staff I didn't like the vibes here. Probably not the worst place but it's small, places like this are awkward because of regulars who think that they own the place. Hope people will remember to be light-hearted when it comes to running a bar. Honestly hard to drink in places where people are uptight.?
I was there just now. I had 2 Corona beers and the lady I was with, she had 3. I said that I wanted to pay for my own a couple times, even the other customers heard me but I got charged for the whole 5. I didn't realise this at the time. The bill doesn't break down the cost. And I trusted her with the pricing The machine was saying $19 for a beer. 2 beers were $38 and I paid $40 with tax. I thought that I was fine. Then I checked their website and cost of a beer was a lot less. Then I called the restaurant to ask about it. I was told by a lady that I had asked for the whole bill. Complete lie. On top of that she yelled at me at phone when I expressed my concern. I am highly disappointed
The food is amazing. I liked their fish and chips in particular. The staff were very friendly. The food was made and brought to the table speedily. I would happily go again.
Always love coming to red Cardinal. Its an older bar but the food always hits the spot, they have a decent beer selection and the service is always top tier. Also love the decent pricing on everything and there's always something on special depending on the day. If you're looking for a laid back spot to grab a bit, I'd come here.
