Impeccable grounds and greens. Very picturesque and also punishing when you miss your approach shots. Greens are Stanley Thompson tilted and quick. Play with a member or get yourself a yardage book. You will have a great time.
Had the privilege of playing here with a member. The course is unreal, maintenance on this place is next level. The friendliest staff and A+ service. The clubhouse is so historic but first class amenities, very intimate atmosphere and plenty of active members. This places holds the number one spot of golf courses I have personally played. Highly recommended and coveted place
Came here for an end of the year holiday party for work, and I did not expect to be served this level of quality food. Every single dish in this three course meal was perfect. The plating was great, and the taste was even greater. I literally couldn't think of a single thing I would change other than wanting more. I'm not sure how golf clubs work, but I assume it's for rich people who have memberships here. I seriously need to get rich so I can come eat here again.
*This review is less about the golf course and more about the venue* I was part of the bridal party for my good friends' wedding this past weekend. It was a fantastic day, made even better by the flexibility and support of the Club’s hospitality staff. The food service was seamless, and when the programming had to be adjusted slightly at a few points, they were more than accommodating. The building itself has a lot of character and history, making it perfect for wedding photography. The view of the golf course and the trees looked magical in the background. We had the wedding on one of the last days of summer, but I can imagine that other seasons, especially snowy days, would make it even more picturesque for photo shoots. There were plenty of rooms for the wedding party to relax and hide away in. The bridal suite was spacious with great lighting, which really helped with makeup and touch-ups. I do wish we could have connected to the TV via WiFi to play our own videos or music, but I know other rooms had casting devices. It wasn’t just the wedding day that was great. During the rehearsal a few days earlier, Heather (I think that was her name) was incredibly professional and welcoming. The groom mentioned that during the entire 12-13 months of planning with the venue, the staff had been consistently professional and organized. A nice cherry on top was when a couple of staff members showed off their knowledge of Farsi ?. I believe one of the head staff members was named Dominic (apologies if I got that wrong!). It was a busy but fun night for all of us. Thank you again! I’ll definitely recommend this place to future couples looking for a venue. Let me take a moment and congratulate K & K again on this successful wedding day!
James Mosakos is unbiased. St George's is my home course and my favourite place to play. They did run out of ice at the Open which doesn't have anything to do with the club.
I have golfed here as a guest a number of times and it is always a fantastic experience. The course is amazing and the staff are so attentive and accommodating. Top tier.
There's a reason St. George's is consistently ranked among the best courses in Canada, given its fantastic layout, history and proximity to the city. But what really sets it apart is its Clubhouse and staff. Service is impeccable and fare scrumptious. Always a pleasure to be invited out and revel in the ambiance.
