The girl behind the counter must be new at her job. Mixed up the salsa, asked if I wanted a combo with all the items of a combo on the counter... Had to repeat myself several times... Get home to quite possibly the worst burrito I've ever had.
I ordered two burritos and both were very bland. I saved the second one for later and once I eventually got to the second one and bit into it, I heard a large crack sound. THERE WAS A PIECE OF ROCK IN MY BURRITO!!!! My tooth is chipped!!!!!
Guys I bought a chicken bowl for almost $14 and it was just awful in terms of taste and quantity. The guy was sprinkling toppings as he was sprinkling salt.
I love this place, I go here at-least once a week. They’re friendly, the food is reasonably priced and I feel like it’s a healthy and delicious choice that I would highly recommend.
Most recent time I've been here was a 0/10. A few days ago, there was just one guy working here and the orders were piling up. He was visibly angry - throwing the spatula on the prep table multiple times, smashing lids down on pans, and slamming the covers down on the fresh topping containers. Another customer tried to make polite small talk with him, but was totally ignored. Bro, welcome to the Toronto food service industry (and you're not even a busy downtown place).. if you're that cheesed off, don't show it infront of customers - especially in an open kitchen restaurant. Makes me wonder what other things they are neglecting when the pressure is turned up (Hygiene? Food safety? Sanitation? Probably all of the above?) While the food was decent on two occasions, that level of customer service and professionalism is unacceptable. I will not buy from here again.
