Tried to order two regular poutine and the six employees just started arguing with each other whether they can make it or not and finally said they don’t have cheese curds. Tried to just order fries with gravy but they said we can’t have the fries in the box, only the bag. Left and went to the Tim Hortons
I asked before ordering if the fries are home cut or frozen? Was told fresh cut but I’m not convinced plus as you can see in the photo they must have run out of gravy? Worst burger I’ve had in a long time for the price point……. way over priced $$$ and over cooked super dry, I mentioned to the manager that they are over cooking the patties and he looked at me as if I’m an idiot so poor management equals poor quality of service♂️ hence why they only have a 2.3 out of 24 people it’s because of managers like these restaurants end up closing down! Let me tell you if I were running the show this place would be at 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it sure has the potential and the owners had the vision, but unfortunately managers like these kill it! Sorry Big Smoke Burgers For my review but I have to be honest. And FYI if everything was good then I wouldn’t mind paying $23 for a burger combo but not for a dry burger or a dry poutine sorry….
Came to Great Canadian Casino and needed a snack so I went to Big Smoke Burger. Last time I came they didn’t have the pulled pork poutine so I wanted to see if they had it and they did! I went to the counter and the gentleman there helped me, answered my questions in a courteous manner, the cash guy was also very pleasent. My first thought when I opened it “ was that there was a lot of green onion so I just pushed it aside and I started to eat. Hands down the best pulled pork I have ever tasted. The sauce was tasty, and they put quite a bit of the meat. Every bite had meat. The gravy was good, just the right amount of cheese. So good. Small is about $9 +tax. Seems expensive but you get a lot in the box and it’s soooo good.
