Only two things are preventing me from saying this was a 5-star experience. First, I checked both online and through a phone call if the BBQ I wanted was in stock. Drove half an hour only to find out that it wasn’t, and was up-sold to another one for $50 more. Granted, it’s not much more money, but considering their double mistake, I shouldn’t have had to pay extra. Second, the hours of operation are not helpful to anyone who works a 9-5 during the week. So basically can only go there on weekends. That said, the showroom is fantastic. Anything you could possibly need for your summers on the deck is here, and the staff definitely know their stuff. They’re also very helpful with loading your car, and in general it was a pleasant shopping experience (except for the stock issue). Their barbecue butler experience is reasonably priced as well, but the wait times were a bit too long because it’s peak season for us right now. Would have definitely used them in off-peak times. Would certainly go again
I have been looking for a Napoleon firepit and the model I have been looking for is N/A in my city for some reason and with COVID going on, Napoleon is turning their attention to making medical stuff, so I am told by my local dealer and they won't be getting the model I want anytime soon - surfing, I found Barbecues Galore and they had stock. I called the Etobicoke store and spoke with Brian who stickhandled everything - I was a little concerned about shipping a 100 lb firepit and having some rough handling causing me issues and then being stuck with a problem and not local that I could drive over to the store, Brian assured me I would be taken care of should any issues arise - the product was shipped out within 2 days from their Burlington warehouse and I received it 2 days later - shipped by Day and Ross - a 40 foot transport showed up, electric hand truck and tailgate - and the pallet the firepit was strapped to was wheeled into my garage !! Great job by the warehouse guys shipping this out, free shipping was included to boot and a competitive price - very happy. Put it together yesterday, no brainer job, good instructions.
