Love the pierogies here! We originally tried them at Costco but Costco stopped carrying them. Learned the outlet was relatively nearby and came. Good prices. Far better than Cheemos and ones I have tried from Denningers (and I like Cheemos) a good variety of flavour. If you like pierogies you should give theirs a try.
My favourite perogies. Love the selection and that they allow you to mix different favourites into a bundle. My only complaint is the hours are somewhat inconvenience considering how far it is from where I live, but I can live with that considering the low prices :)
I was excited to try these Mini Perogies, expecting a delicious taste of Eastern European cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While eating, I bit into what should have been a soft and flavorful dumpling, only to find a hard piece of bone inside (as pictured). I nearly broke a tooth—thankfully, I didn’t. This makes me seriously question the quality control at Pelmen Foods. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the risk.
I used these a number of times, got them from Costco and we always liked them. I used the chicken pierogies for a number of recipes without issues. The last bag had so many small bones I wanted to barf most meals up. What a turn off. I was just thankful nobody choked or cut their digestive tract. That's the last time I buy these things.
I’m Ukrainian born and raised in Ukraine and I love this brand , always buy at Freshco and Nofrills. Sometimes stop at their factory to pick up sweet varenyky . The quality is better than some local restaurants
Pelman make a good perogie, but they just suddenly raised prices by 25%!!!! Now, instead of 24 in a bag, you only get 18 and the cost is the same. Just like that! Overnight, they decreased the count per bag and weight trying to trick everyone. I do not want to pay 25% more on top of the inflation we already have! Not sure can support this brand.
Prices have gone up, product sizes have gone up (nearly doubled) but the cost per unit has definitely increased. I’ve picked out some bags from Costco when they are there and I dislike the fact I’m forced into two larger bags instead of three varieties. Why have all the different varieties then? Also sour kraut is very popular and they know this and fail to stock enough of it.
