Take in the atmoshpere, the friendly warm nature of there staff. A warm specialty coffee or a creamy smooth hot choclate. Make your taste buds come alive with there handcrafted dishes or desserts. They never stop impressing us. Joy foods is warm and inviting and leaves you craving the next visit.
I ate burek it was delicious and ordered and paid for the full tray 10 minutes later come to pick up they already sold it to someone else. They have to work on the service and the promise u can't sale my stuff to someone else.
great place with a very chill and lowkey atmosphere making it a top tier place to eat with friends and family. The food is amazing, with different varieties like burgers, hotdogs to your savoury like desserts. Overall great place would definitely recommend.
Just discovered this amazing place with two friends yesterday after walking by it so many times before...go inside! The food quality and taste were incredible, service was fantastic. Beautiful and clean space. I had a wagyu steak, my friends had the breakfast plates. The prices are totally fair for what you are getting - it's real food, homemade from scratch, not the highly processed junk that is typically served at chain stores. You can't compare the food with Tim Horton's or similar places. Real food costs more. There is a delicious selection of GF, DF, Pork Free options, including desserts, which I will be back to try the next visit! The owner was so knowledgeable about allergies, very welcoming and accommodating. There is a little store in the back with meats and European goodies. Our new favourite place! PS: there are tables out front, you can bring your pup to hang out! Update: I went back another night with my pup and the owner served him water in a little bowl! You feel like you're visiting a friend's house for dinner.?
A great restaurant addition to the Burnhamthorpe Mall! As a restaurant offering Italian, Mediterranean and Balkan-style food, they offer a lot of handmade food dishes and stock a lot of European products that you can buy in the store. Worth stopping by for food, dessert or to buy imported products! Since opening, they've narrowed down some commonly ordered items and have trimmed the menu, so you'll need to go in person to get the most current food offerings. They have two separate menus for food and beverages at the cashier with lots of space for you to dine inside or outside at their tables. The staff were very nice and gave great suggestions for food options. We ordered the Italian Sandwich and the Spaghetti Bolognese. Both were very delicious and very well presented! For beverages, we ordered the Magic Berries Smoothie and the Ice coffee-Joy style (which meant you get to choose the ice cream to blend with the coffee). According to staff, most people choose vanilla ice cream as their blending choice. Will need to come back again to try their huge dessert offering!
***Went back on Oct 26 2025 and had a latte and La Roch Cake. Delicious! But more than the food, the service was way above 10! Kejsi and Vanessa were so kind, fast, friendly, knowledgeable and always had a smile. Their genuineness was refreshing! You don't get that kind of top service a lot around here!Thank you ladies! AMAZING!!! Had the Diavola pizza (without the meat). I didn't realize how much I missed great pizza until I took that first bite! Sooooo good! Fresh toppings,thin crispy crust and foldable (you know it's good pizza when you can fold it...haha). For dessert, pistachio Gelato. Very smooth and creamy and not too sweet! The owner was so kind and friendly! The cappuccino was on the house! Such a nice gentleman! Everyone was very friendly in there! Dont hesitate! Just go! You won't go wrong with Joy Foods!
