David and his team did an amazing job. We are absolutely thrilled with the attention to detail and quality of the fabrication and installation. David is a master at his craft. He came highly recommended by our designer, Natalie Chandon of Natalie Chandon Design and I can see why Marble Works Toronto Inc. is the only countertop contractor she will use. Working with Marine and the team at Marble Works was seamless from start to finish! Everyone is personable and very knowledgeable about their stones. There was an array of stone selections to choose from and Marine and her team worked effortlessly to ensure we made the best choices for our project. David and the installation team communicated with me regularly to ensure he achieved our desired look. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the end results!
David, Marine, and the Marble Works Team did an incredible job fabricating and installing our counter and backsplash. We spent 3 weekends visiting 10 slab distributors across the GTA and after finding the perfect stone for our project worried about it being cut and installed. After the Marble Works Team arrived on site that concern dissipated. They have been doing this a long time and are absolute pros. Even the small details like matching the seams or a small carve out for our faucet was handled beautifully. Without question we would ask Marble Works to complete a future project for us.
We used Marble Works for our entire home including kitchens, bathrooms and the fireplace. Marine and David are outstanding. We were very pleased with the quality and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
I called this morning to ask whether they accept walk-ins or prefer appointments. The lady on the phone said walk-ins were welcome, as long as it was before 5:30 PM. I visited in the afternoon and found the sales associate engaged with a client, discussing a project. I wasn’t greeted, which was understandable since she was busy, so I walked around to search for the samples I needed. After about five minutes, I still hadn’t been acknowledged or asked if I needed assistance. Hoping to get a quick question answered, I positioned myself within her line of sight. She noticed me but continued speaking with her client. After ten minutes in the store, a male employee working on a tabletop approached me and asked if I needed help. He identified whether two of the samples were porcelain or quartz after double-checking multiple times. When I inquired about taking samples to show my client—since pictures don’t always capture the details—he immediately said no, which was fine, though many other stone suppliers do offer take-home samples. I then asked if the specific stone I was interested in had a brand showroom. He told me to ask the sales associate. I moved closer to her table, where both she and her client saw me, yet she continued her conversation without acknowledging my presence. I waited patiently for another five minutes, hoping she would either finish or at least offer to answer a quick question. Still, nothing. At that point, I put the sample back, thanked the male employee, and told him I would figure it out myself. Then I left. Basic customer service would have been as simple as a greeting or a quick acknowledgment: "I’m currently with a client, but I’d be happy to assist you afterward. Here’s my card if you’d like to book an appointment or call me later," or even, "I’ll be with you shortly—please give me 15 minutes." But I received nothing. As a designer, I would never return to this store.
We hired Marble Works for projects in two homes that included countertops for kitchens, laundry rooms, washrooms, and backsplashes. Marble Works did an exceptional job and it was a pleasure to work with them from start to finish. Their turnaround time from measurement to installation was incredibly short. We could not imagine a better experience!
