Honestly, I don't get why i'm seeing 1-star reviews. The staff is extremely helpful and even showed me where the less pricey comic books were. some books are pricey, but if you engage with the staff, you will find the gems!!!
Walked in June 12, 2025 @ 4:50pm to inquire about the new Final Fantasy magic set. The person working asked if I wanted some help in a very annoyed tone. I asked if they had the following product in stock. He replied saying "no, not until tomorrow" in the same annoyed tone. I said thank you. He walked with his back towards me saying how "they are not a tournament store and that's why they get theirs at a later date compared to other stores" as if he was tired saying that answer. Afterwards I said thank you with no reply from him as he went back to opening pokemon product. Been coming to this store from time to time since they were located on lakeshore but my experiences have been hit or miss. There are other options in the area with much better service such as untouchables sports, xplanet games, Emmett's toy and hobby shop and gotham central. All by far with much better customers service then here.
Walked in said hi how’s it going, owner looked at me, and didn’t say anything. Most unwelcome feeling ever at a comic/ tcg “store”. Dead mall dead store. Also prices are expensive compared to other businesses
Owner and staff are all rude. I have never been in a “store” where the staff are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Seems weird to have a store, but not have the people skills.
Horrible owner, I believe his name is Darcy. His assistance, a woman with headphones on, ignores most people and doesn't know the product. Overpriced Lord of the Ring cards.. Please, if you are a fan of cards or comics, go to 401 Games or Silver Snail. WAY BETTER EXPERIENCE!! Trust me.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The most rude staff, extremely cold in nature. Sure they have great cards and memorabilia but the customer experience is what matters most. They said not to take pictures of things (since I was going to reference back to it incase I wanted to buy something in the future) I surely won’t be coming back or supporting them ever again. Take your money people and support another business that is more inviting. Whoever is running the place should be absolutely ashamed in the manners of that place.
I called asking about whether they had a specific book and got a rude response from the person on the other end of the phone. They then confirmed they had what I was looking for in stock but refused to provide a price. Went in to find the price was quite exorbitant - even higher than what you'd normally find on a 2nd-hand marketplace like ebay. Checked out single issues and was shocked to see the markup on them. Not to mention unlike every other comic book store they charge to have a pull list. Overall, you're better off going just about anywhere else. Decent selection but horrible pricing and staff.
