If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Unprofessional to say the least. I've visited Amy's once before - she operates out of her home- where she helped shorten the length of a bridesmaid dress. The work was decent and she seemed pleasant and friendly- no negative experience. Fast forward around 6 months, I was back to have another dress shortened and brought a friend along as well. Although the timeline was short, she seemed iffy about doing the dress when I visited her. I reiterated a few times that if she felt she didn't have enough time given her other commitments, I wouldn't leave the dress with her and would find another seamstress. I was leaving the country in 5 days. My friend was leaving in 7 days so I let her know that she could give both dresses to my friend once ready. On the day that I'm leaving, I'm at the airport when she texts me to ask if it's "Okay" if my dress is not done. She said she didn't feel confident given the number of layers on the dress. The gaslighting that followed was outrageous to both me and my friend. As a result, I had an unaltered dress at the wedding- long which I was tripping over. For simple alterations, she maybe okay- anything seemingly complex, I would not highly not recommend.
I texted Amy, she responded within 30 seconds. She immediately was able to give me a (very reasonable) price over the phone. I dropped off my pants, and she had them shortened/hemmed in less than 2 days. The price was great, the timing was great, the quality was perfect. Will definitely use again. Thx Amy!

Amy did an excellent job shortening my 2 dresses and fixing the straps. She worked on them so fast liked in 3 days considering the work that she needs to tackle. She’s very nice and pleasant consulting with me first before proceeding. She showed me her planned work before going ahead to make sure I will like the end result. I was amazed of her work! I was very pleased and happy the way it turned out especially with the straps on both dresses. It was the way I envisioned it and my dresses looked perfect now when I tried it on.
