Just read the 1 star reviews. They are spot on. Only thing my server did REALLY REALLY well is deny reality. Like I say...was gonna do a review....but the 1 star reviews here are totally accurate. Too bad...cause the cook knows their job at least flavourwise. It's a competitive market. Unless they start listening to customers instead of mindlessly calling fake news like Trump....there is no hope they will survive. I guess they don't believe they have what it takes to make happy customers. Sad to say....that could well be the case
It seems like this restaurant’s people would rather live in denial than improving their services. They want to tell people they’re lying instead of actually cleaning the restaurant. My girlfriend and I dined in here and the table had food crumbs on it. Curtains and cutlery were dirty too. We had to ask for another set of cutlery and drink our own water in the car because there was something floating in the water. There were flies in the dining area as well. They’ve responded to my girlfriend’s review basically saying that she’s lying and scared of facing backlash. So here’s my message to them, don’t try to bully us because we’re not scared. Go ahead and try to make us face backlash for what you think is unethical behaviour if you think we deserve it. Try and see if you can stop us from letting people know our experience at your restaurant. I’ll see what you can do.
Stopped in for a classic breakfast after driving by this place many times. The classic breakfast was just $10, including coffee, extremely reasonable these days. I received a coffee refill while I ate. Breakfast was fine, coffee was a little weak. I will come back and try some Indian food another time.
Well my family and I wont be returning here anymore. We loved coming because of the donuts and was craving it one day. After new management, this place isnt the same anymore. My family and I came and ordered half a dozen donuts, coffees and hot chocolate. We decided to enjoy our donuts there while we had our hot coffee. We all tried the donut and they were rock hard. I asked my aunt if her donut is fresh and she said no that its very stale and it had a funny taste like a season by accident probably touched it. I then asked the waitress if we can just get out money back because noone wanted their donuts and it was all stale. She goes to the back and I guess tells the owner and he comes out and says he can only give me $3 back as a refund because we bit into the donuts, I showed him the box and told him all the donuts are hard and not fresh. I even told him to try his own donut. How else would we have known the donut was fresh or not without trying it? He said no that the donuts are fresh and that they bake their donuts in the morning and then tells me they made it the night before. He wasnt friendly and didnt apologize. This place used to be good but this donut shop has to be changed. They shouldve just kept it the same and not try to add so many different items on the menu.
Wanted to like it but 40 min wait for take out combined with biryani and tikka masala that was horrible made this a don't go back or recommend. Way too much oil and overall terrible quality and ended up composting the food. Avoid and go down the street to Feast of Dilli where the food is actually good! I was told a 20 minute wait btw arriving at 12:45 and I left with my order at 1:25 so you do the math. Had the food been good I would not have written a negative review.
If you’re going to call yourself “Brownsline Donuts” then at the very least, have good donuts. My husband and I purchased two, both of which turned out to be incredibly stale. Coffee was burnt as well. Go elsewhere.
Friendly staff . Always greeted with a smile, cheap eats . Conveniently opened 24/7 if your in the area and desperate . BUT you do get what you pay for . Breakfast is fairly cheap compared to most places. BUT it's usually disappointing ! Overly greasy and tasteless. Tried a few other dishes with a friend (goat curry , poutine , burger and chicken fingers) . We agreed it was all mediocre at best. I'm not sure why there are so many 5star reviews! Would have given 2.5 stars just on the food.
